My experience with Attorney Marianne Joan Charles was extremely disappointing. In my opinion, she showed a lack of professionalism and follow-through throughout my case. Communication was minimal, and it often felt like I had to chase for updates or clarity on next steps. Important matters seemed to ...be overlooked or delayed, which caused unnecessary stress and confusion. I expected an attorney who would advocate strongly and keep me informed — unfortunately, that was not my experience. Based on how my situation was handled, I would not recommend her services.

Would not return phone calls or emails for months. Made me wait for a call from her for three hours twice and never showed. Left me unprotected from a husband who had a personality disorder. He showed up on my driveway with the New Canaan police saying they were “escorting” him through the house. Whe...n I complained, she dumped me to a junior employee, who said she was selling my house and settling the case. If I had followed her advice I would have lost millions.
