Rare gem I.P. attoney; Alan T. Harrison has exceeded my expectations

During my extensive tenure in the optical industry I have had numerous patent attorneys here in the US and in EU. First-rate

I was astonished by Alan's ability to quickly and thoroughly grasp the technical subject matter involved in two patent re-examination requests he prepared and filed for us. In my opinion, he's a first-rate patent attorney and I recommend him without reservation.

Smart Padlock Application by a Smart Attorney

We found an attorney who invested himself into a successful patent application. He was involved from the top to the bottom of our subject matter (which covered firmware, software, hardware, and Internet web information). He quickly came up to speed and provided keen insight regarding the placement of our claims. He spoke to the PTO examiner on several occasions so that we could beneficently address all issues and clear a path to the granting of the patent. We were lucky to find an attorney such as Alan Harrison as our council for our patent application. .

Patent Application

Alan was instrumental in gaining acceptance of my patent application. Her was very persistent. He made sure he understood every capability of the invention and took the time to explain it to the patent office examiner to ensure that he understood it properly.

Three Stroke Internal Combustion Engine

As a first time inventor, I felt very insecure about the process of obtaining a US patent. My approach to overcome this feeling was to hire a very known and well established intellectual property law firm, McCormick Paulding Huber LLP. Alan was assigned to my case and in less than one year of intense collaborative work he submitted a very well written patent application which perfectly described my invention and whose claims cover all its main ideas. He also successfully defended my invention before the USPTO when the examiner found another patent that involved similar ideas to my own. Due to his excellent work, I now have a US patent in a very competitive and prestigious field. I also would like to add that during all this process Alan promptly and diligently answered all my requests, which testifies his professionalism.
