I was facing charges that carry serious mandatory minimum sentences, we're talking up to 10 years in prison. Cara was extremely communicative, kind, knowledgeable, and respectful throughout the entire process. Any questions that my family or I had were answered and our concerns were addressed. Within... the first day of mitigation with the state, after being presented with the defensive arguments and evidence from Cara, I went from facing 10 years to 1. After a final deliberation with the state a deal was made for no jail time and a less severe felony sentence. When I found myself in the scariest moment of my life facing criminal charges I was referred to Attorney Cavallari. After my sentencing, Cara contacted me every single week that I was incarcerated and worked directly with the prison to have me released early. She continued fighting even after my sentence was handed down!!! Attorney Cavallari also kept in constant communication with my son and my family when I was incarcerated. She answered all of their questions and concerns, explained to them what the next steps would look like and helped put their minds at ease. Beyond that, Cara has also offered to communicate with any future employer to help me obtain employment again and put this nightmare behind me.
