Biography
Attorney Chadwick is the managing partner of the law firm of Chadwick & Spensley where he practices primarily in civil litigation and criminal defense.
As one of the only Vermont attorneys who is certified both as a NHTSA field sobriety and DUI investigation practioner and NHTSA certified DUI investigation instructor, Attorney Chadwick has advanced his knowledge in defending DUI and traffic based criminal and civil violations.
With the ever changing landscape in Drugged Driving, especially with the legalization of recretional marijuana in Vermont in 2018, Attorney Chadwick has also furthered his knowledge on drug based DUI's by taking advanced level training in the Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) curriculum and drug impairment investigative techniques employed by law enforcement.
Beyond his criminal defense practice, Attorney Chadwick also represents Plaintiffs in excessive use of force cases against various police agencies throughout Vermont.

Speeding Ticket Thrown Out
I was very happy with Chadwick Law. I hired them for a speeding ticket in Vermont. I filled out a form and provided a couple documents and then they took care of the rest. They did my telephone hearing for me and then let me know my ticket had been dismissed. It doesn't get any better than that!

Highly recommend - no points, no fine result!
I received a speeding ticket on a rural VT road due to the constant changes in speed limit and irregular signage (i.e. from 30 to 40 to 50 mph and then immediately back to 30 mph).
