Biography
Attorney Chadwick is the managing partner of the law firm of Chadwick & Spensley where he practices primarily in civil litigation and criminal defense.
As one of the only Vermont attorneys who is certified both as a NHTSA field sobriety and DUI investigation practioner and NHTSA certified DUI investigation instructor, Attorney Chadwick has advanced his knowledge in defending DUI and traffic based criminal and civil violations.
With the ever changing landscape in Drugged Driving, especially with the legalization of recretional marijuana in Vermont in 2018, Attorney Chadwick has also furthered his knowledge on drug based DUI's by taking advanced level training in the Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) curriculum and drug impairment investigative techniques employed by law enforcement.
Beyond his criminal defense practice, Attorney Chadwick also represents Plaintiffs in excessive use of force cases against various police agencies throughout Vermont.

Ticket Dismissed
Attorney Chadwick did a great job at representing me for a traffic ticket. He stayed on top of the court date the was postponed and was aware of the changes. He kept me informed along the way, and he was very responsive when I reached out to him.
