Excellent Lawyer

CASE DISMISSED!!!

Words can"t describe how highly I esteem Justin Shepherd. My name is Brian and I was on parole when I was charged with habitual operation of a motor vehicle after suspension. After my arrest I was appointed an attorney from the public defenders office. This attorney told me that there was little she could do for me because it was basically an "open and shut case" that the state was going to win. After she made several bad moves and my spending 3 months trying to communicate with her from jail to no avail, I fired her. I was then sent to the prison on a parole violation and luckily ended up Justin Shepherd as my attorney. Justin came to my parole revocation hearing with briefs for all the board members in hand. I could tell by the looks on the board members faces that they had rarely if ever seen an attorney so well prepared for a hearing of this type. My parole officer was seeking a 2 year set back which would have cost me 2 years of my life on top of the possible 2 1/2 years the state was seeking on the driving case in prison. By the end of the hearing, Justin did such a great job that the board was telling my parole officer that they didn't want to hear any more he had to say and that they were granting Justin's request that I only serve 90 days. ( Some of you may be familiar with SB52 and think that the board gave me the 90 days because this bill forced them to. Not true because I was on parole for driving and the board very well could have and in most cases like mine HAVE given MORE than the 90 days. ) As for the open case that the state was vehemently seeking 2 1/2 years on - DISMISSED! Justin filed a Motion To Suppress the evidence due to the illegality of the stop and after arguing said motion in court,- WON! And this was a case that the previous attorney said was "open and shut" for the state. I've had several attorneys in my day and Justin Shepherd is by far the best I've seen. Not only is he a thoroughly capable attorney that is 100% involved with your case from start to finish - doing his own research and drafting his own motions, but he cares about his clients and treats them like equals. If you need an attorney, you will not be disappointed with your choice of going with him!

Justin graduated Cum Laude from Suffolk University in 1997 with a major in American History. Justin graduated with honors from Suffolk University and was a member of the Delta Alpha Pi Honor Society for academic achievement. Justin graduated from Suffolk Law School in May of 2000 with honors. Justin has guest lectured at Curry College, Riviere College and teaches trial techniques for the International Association of Arson Investigators.

Background:

Justin Shepherd has been fighting for defendants, victims, and the wrongfully accused ever since his first day as a lawyer back in October of 2000. Justin began his legal career as a criminal defense attorney with the New Hampshire Public Defender's Office. During his four years as a public defender, Justin zealously fought for and compassionately stood by all of his clients in criminal courts throughout southern New Hampshire. Justin's steadfast dedication to serving the most underprivileged of our society taught him that there is always something more a lawyer can do to help his client. By working with investigators and other talented lawyers, Justin learned that there are always two sides to every story.

With a heart for public service, Justin decided that in order to grow as a lawyer, he became a prosecutor with the Rockingham County Attorney's Office. During this time Justin worked diligently to find fair and just resolutions to every felony, misdemeanor and DWI case for which he was responsible. Justin's legal talent and trial skills brought him to the attention of the Hillsborough County Attorney's Office, where he was offered a position prosecuting serious felonies such as rape, arson, child molestations, robberies and other violent crimes.

In July of 2007, Justin decided that the time had come for him to find new ways to help people. Attorney Shepherd entered into private practice with a focus on criminal defense. Attorney Shepherd handles all types of criminal matters across New Hampshire.

I cannot Thank Justin Shepard Enough. My case was Long and Drawn Out because of Covid. Justin was on Top everytime. I was able to return to My Career as A Nurse that would have been destroyed.. Just EVERYTHING

I met Justin in Nashua courthouse some 10-15 years ago, he was an attorney and I was a guardian ad listen. Since then he has helped me to help my kids with various issues and has always done it, JUST RIGHT!! He also fixed a sticky situation for me, that should have never been brought to court in the first place, but given all the tools and knowledge Justin has things all turned around, THANK YOU ATTY SHEPHERD, I am forever indebted to you, hopefully I won’t need anything from you in the future, but if I do, safe to say…I’ve got you in my corner. Review for my Attorney Justin Shepherd

I have been lucky to have Attorney Shepherd represent me in two cases, one of which involved a felony and he got it changed to a misdemeanor. I would have lost a 30-yr career if he wasn't able to. He really is the best in Nashua!

Beyond the call of duty

Attorney Shepherd represented my son in a violation of probation case. My son was facing 4 years and Attorney Shepherd negotiated a six month sentence which was great. Several months later the prison appeared to be breaking the deal. Although he was no longer my son's attorney my son asked me to call him. My call was promptly returned. and I explained the situation to him. We spoke for about 30 minutes or so and he offered to send some forms to my son that would be helpful in addressing the issue. He could have easily said I no longer represent your son so I can't help you. He took his own unpaid time to point me in the right direction and to send helpful forms to my son. This guy has empathy. If you need a lawyer that cares, Justin Shepherd is your guy.

Life saver!!!

Justin is a amazing lawyer . When I caught myself in some trouble he was there for everything and not just like any lawyer he always made sure to make me feel comfortable not just like some criminal. Justin had stayed on top of everything for me he even helped me get my daughter back when I got out of prison. There are no words in this world to say on how great of a lawyer Justin really is!!!!!

Justin Shepherd Should Go Down As The Best Lawyer In History!!!

I can honestly say I couldn't have asked for a better Lawyer than Justin Shepherd. Long story short, I was 17 years old charged with accomplice to attempted murder, facing 25 years to life when I shouldn't have been. My friend got into a fight where things escalated quickly and my friend ended up pulling a machete out of his pants and slicedthe person in forehead and the arm. (The person was out of the hospital later that day...it wasn't life threatening injuries). Right after that happened my friend ran back into my car which I ran to and I got in my car and he told me to leave. I wasn't going to tell him no or to get out because at that time I had no clue what was going through his mind and what he would do if I told him either of those things. I had no idea and still can't believe he had that hidden in his pants somehow. I have never physically hurt a single person in my life. All I did was drive my friend away but yet the court wanted to give me 25-life. The lawyers I had before Justin didn't believe my side of the story and I was going to be in prison the rest of my life. Luckily, I finally ended up with Justin Shepherd and he was open ears to hear my side of the story and was the only one who believed me. He was very kind, compassionate, understanding, and treated me like a human being not just a client. Mr. Shepherd worked and fought meticulously to get the courts to see my side of the story and that the charges were way too excessive. After everything was said and done, he got my charges dropped down to a Class A Misdemeanor of Hindering Apprehension. Which means I prevented the arrested of my friend because I drove him away from after a crime happened. I ended up with time served and 1 year of probation. I can't thank Justin Shepherd enough, I feel like I owe him my life because he has saved mine. I would be in prison on a 25-Life sentence if it wasn't for him! I would recommend anyone with legal issues to hire Justin Shepherd!

Thumbs Way Up!

I was personally dealing with a bad criminal history of habitual matter. I was charged with a felony for the first time and I didn't know what to do. I found attorney Justin Sheperd and I'm so glad I chose him. When I spoke to him he had a kind and compassionate manner that calmed me down. He reassured me that there will be no jail time "buddy" as he would like to use as term of endearment. He stayed on top of everything even going above and beyond to speak with local police to get my charge dropped down along with the prosecutor to give her a heads up which helped tremendously. I was easily facing one year in jail which I know I couldn't handle. The outcome was amazing! He miraculously got my charges dropped to a misdemeanor six months deferred and one year sentence suspended. I cannot thank him enough. He is easy to work with and never made me feel he judged me. I highly recommend Attorney Sheperd to represent anyone dealing with a case like mine or similar. He's trustworthy and will treat you with the utmost respect! He's a lawyer with a heart but will also tell you that you need to stay out of trouble stop being a "baodass"LOL. Thumbs up up up way up for this guy!

KING KONGG

True Advocate and winner

Justin was awesome not only in getting a result I could not have imagined by getting all charges dropped, but his overall demeanor and communication and willingness to help even after case is over to get arrest annulled and work on internet/media issues.
