I had never retained a lawyer before. I did not know what to expect. I called a lawyer’s office and spoke with the lawyer. The lawyer required a retainer of 3500.00 due the following week. I asked the lawyer if I could pay it in installments. She said no. I couldn’t afford that amount. I looke...d for another lawyer. I felt down and defeated because I could never afford a fee of 3500,00. I read many reviews. I was getting frustrated. One day I came upon Mr. Lefebvre’s ad and reviews. I read all the reviews and he sounded like someone I could trust. I called him that day and he got back to me ASAP. We spoke on the phone, he asked me what kind of divorce, a contested divorce or a non contested divorce. I told him it was non contested. He explained the process and his fee. He was very nice to talk to. He explained everything I needed to do and explained everything in layman’s terms so I could understand. I met him in his office the following week, we discussed everything he gave me the paperwork and documents that needed to be notarized. I will tell you he is a genuine nice man who is understanding and caring. I popped into his office many times without an appointment and they were so nice. He gave me my court date it was 2 months by Webex. His office staff was great! He treated me with kindness and respect. His fee was something I could afford. He never nickeled and dime me. Everything was done professionally, easy , and fast. I would recommend Mr. Lefebvre to anyone who needs his professional help. I would definitely use him again for any legal assistance in the future. I thank Mr. Lefebvre and his staff for everything they did for me.

Chris and his staff were upfront, professional and trustworthy from the very beginning. It’s a stressful time in one’s life, especially when you have to take care of your family and you experience challenges due to unforeseen roadblocks, “Covid” that can literally turn someone’s life upside down. C...hris, along with his staff Sarah were able to keep me balanced during a difficult time; they answered every call, every question, every email as if I was their only client which provided much breathing room needed through the whole process. I began what I thought should have been a simple custody case, that for many reasons turned out to become a parents worst nightmare. I have never experienced anything like this before so it was all new to me. I initially retained another Attorney and after doing so I realized that my main concerns ...were not being heard or taken seriously. That Attorney was playing on my fears and vulnerabilities at my expense of course. I was soon enough experiencing what I considered to be a full blown trail between two Attorneys via email which I did not feel comfortable with but again I am not familiar with this process. So finally no longer feeling safe and after spending unnecessary amounts of money a friend of mine referred me to Chris. I contacted Chris and he immediately listened to everything I was saying. He reviewed my entire case while we were on the phone and gave me plenty of his time at no cost. I felt very safe and content after speaking to him so I immediately went to retain him. Chris has been at this for a long time. He is empathetic, practical, methodical and most importantly NO NONSENSE, just to name a few. He does not play games nor waste time. He is also a good read of character. Once I retained Chris all the games stopped and my case was resolved quickly and in the best interest of my child and I. It brought me much peace of mind during a trying time. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Chris as a professional and a person. He also is not one to Nickle and Dime. I will definitely miss our emails and phone calls but I am glad this experience is over. I think its clear that I would highly recommend Chris to anyone. Nobody goes through a divorce and says, "it was no big deal." It's a fairly traumatic experience and as such makes a person vulnerable perhaps to the point of exploitation. I know people whose divorces were dragged out and their fees became exorbitant. One might even question the motives of the lawye...rs... But this was never the case with Chris. In fact, he endorsed my communicating directly with my ex when it seemed we had reached an impasse and it hastened the negotiations tremendously. Instead of a postponement and more communications between our lawyers which could increase our fees, we found resolution in a 10 minute conversation... I always felt Chris had my best interest in mind and felt that he was fighting for a fair and equitable agreement. He isn't hesitant to point out when someone is making an unreasonable demand and will fight to protect what you are legally entitled to. He is responsive and clear in his communications and understands the many difficulties divorce can create. Chris is empathetic and will treat you with dignity and respect. From our first meeting I knew I had found the kind of lawyer I was looking for: one who is capable of protecting and fighting for my interests but who is also a human being. I would not hesitate to recommend Chris to anyone needing the types of legal services he provides and will absolutely work with him again myself (but hopefully not in the family courts!).
