Kristine Ann Cummings

I have no idea why Kristine Cummings was so highly rated when my experience was the complete opposite. Kristine was hard to get in touch with, almost never met deadlines we discussed, and lacked total control and understanding of my case. Several times she made up excuses as to why she was unable to ...meet deadlines that were contradictory to previous facts. Her online persona paints a picture of someone who is more interested in partying than working, and several times explained missed deadlines. I understand divorces are arduous processes but showing up late to court, forgetting to file court documents, and missing calls while I am spending upwards of $75,000 is simply not what I would expect from any lawyer.

Kristine worked on my contentious divorce over the course of two years. Her superior knowledge of Mass Law, professional demeanor, and patience, made a very difficult situation, tolerable. I would HIGHLY recommend Kristine, and her promotion to Partner was well deserved! Kristine was extremely pat...ient throughout the entire process, and was always reliable and prompt. I felt educated and informed as a client, explaining the best options for me and my children. She is trustworthy, and EXTREMELY professional. One would be extremely lucky to have Kristine and Sally and Fitch LLP on their side throughout the divorce process.

Kristine helped me with my divorce proceedings. She was especially helpful considering I moved to another state but had to file in MA. Kristine responded promptly and kept me informed at all times and didn't mind my emails asking her probably the same questions multiple times. Although I only met... with her once in person, from that first meeting she was very sympathetic and empathetic and made the difficult process run a lot smoother. I never felt as though I was bothering or when reaching out and she always responded within one business day, keeping me informed and really explaining and outlining the process and what was needed. Often, her emails were sent quicker and time stamped at the wee hours of the morning. I would definitely recommend her as a trustworthy, caring, patient and responsive professional advocate.

I worked with Kristine Cummings nearly four years ago to negotiate and draft a pre-nuptial agreement. We have remained in touch since that time and I was very happy to learn that she received a well-deserved promotion to partner at Sally & Fitch. Kristine is extremely knowledgeable, creative an...d flexible in proposing approaches and compromises, good at explaining complicated concepts, and very dedicated and hard working. She went above and beyond to make herself available, day and night, and was prompt and thorough with all of her responses.  There were several occasions when I’d send her questions/comments after 10 pm and would usually receive a response that same night.  In addition to her responsiveness, I truly felt like Kristine was “hearing” what I was asking/saying and that she offered real and substantive explanations and feedback – not one word answers or “that’s just how it’s done” types of responses.  I certainly became a more informed client as a result of Kristine’s explanations, and the process was a lot less frightening as a result. Kristine is sharp and tough, but also fair and able to bring both sides to the table in order to reach compromises and get things done – which, in my opinion, is a trait that distinguishes the best and most successful attorneys. I honestly feel that Kristine, through her creativeness and determination, single-handedly steered the process to an amicable conclusion. If you're getting married, you NEED a pre-nuptial agreement, especially in Massachusetts. I repeat this advice to anyone that's getting married (often to my detriment!) and I ALWAYS recommend they work with Kristine Cummings.
