Bettina has represented me for nearly 20 years on several matters most notably child support modifications that my ex brought me back to court for every two years. She was always very professional and on top of the facts of the situation. She communicated with me regularly, particularly via e-mail that is my preferred method of communication. Attorney Holton handled my very contested seperation and child custody/support case. She was fantastic. She got me awarded much more than standard visitation. If it weren't for her I would be just a passerby in my son's life. Afterwards whenever I had questions regarding the order she was prompt at returning emails and did so free of charge. A new issue has just came up and my first email was to her. She instantly replied and put my mind to ease. in short............hire this attorney.

I have had Bettina Holton as my lawyer to represent my on going child support issues with my dead beat ex husband. She presented all pertinent facts, and gone up against highend lawyers he hired,and there were many of them. In my interpetation of her skills is "She chewed them up and spit them out". In the course of 8 years and numerous court apperances, I have always won my case. She is pricey, but with my results, she is worth every penny!!!!!!!

Each case has it details ,, as a lawyer Bettina I feel does the best for her clients given the current laws and court system , at the time of my case I felt I had lost , but given time to reflect on it's out come I have come to understand it could have been worst given the facts of the case and what the court system is like .. If you are looking for someone to hold your hand , let you cry on their shoulder and to be the emotional sponge... This is not her job , she takes the facts of the case and does the best she can with the train wreck of a court system that is what divorce court here in Massachusetts . You are dealing with a system where the judge you have in your case is more important than your lawyer. I feel that Bettina gives you the best efforts to hopefully a fair or at least livable out come to a bad position .

This lawyer's hourly fee is too high compared to her amount and quality of work produced. She claims that she knows your case but, then in the court room she fails to accurately recall the details. She does not connect to you and makes you feel like you are insignificant. She doesn't understand that your life is changed dramatically by her ability to handle your case and that it is an emotional time for you.

My wife and I hired her for a custody case. She never showed up to court on time. Was never prepared for court. Seemed lost during trial. Did not express any of our wishes, was not aggressive. Save your money and find another attorney. I would never recommend her to anyone. Cost me and my wife ten's of thousands.

Bettina Holton showed up late for court on numerous occasions and at least twice did not show up at all. I hired her several years ago for divorce, modification (of all kinds) and visitation issues. She does not return any phone calls and in fact is not much of a counsel as she did not work for me in any sense of the word. She was disorganized in court, lost many of her notes, as stood passively as the opposing attorney spoke many lies about the case in which we had evidence to the contrary. Ms. Holton would not 'counter' these nor provide the evidence. This resulted in the judge taking completely false statements as true. She was apathetic and did not do anything that I asked of her. Furthermore never explained her 'strategy' but when and if she showed up for court it was clear she had none. Ms. Holton failed to turn over documents on my behalf. She didn't even notify me of a court day until the morning of. Very unprepared for court on many occasions. Ms. Holton had a habit of 'winging' it which did not work out to my favor. She charges a lot but doesn't put forth the effort on your behalf.
