Christine Maltby works primarily in the district courts throughout Norfolk County and Plymouth County. She handles all types of criminal defense work, specializing in OUI, domestic violence and motor vehicle cases. Christine is one of Norfolk County's Drug/Recovery Court attorneys out of Quincy District Court and the attorney for Quincy's Mental Health Court.

Christine began her legal career as an Assistant District  Attorney in Norfolk County practicing in Wrentham, Stoughton and Dedham District Courts. She was then hired by the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office where she handled cases in Woburn, Lowell, and Waltham District Courts. She also prosecuted cases in Middlesex Superior Court for the cities of Cambridge, Somerville and Medford. 

During her tenure as an Assistant District Attorney, Christine handled hundreds of evidentiary hearings, including trials and grand jury proceedings, ranging from OUI 1st offense to OUI 11th offense, from possession of drugs to drug trafficking, and a range of violent crimes and firearms charges. She was designated as a domestic violence prosecutor and trained police departments on responding to high risk domestic violence calls. Additionally, Christine attended the United States Department of Justice Elder Abuse Instructor Training Program certifying her to train police departments on investigating physical abuse of elders, emotional and mental abuse, sexual abuse and financial exploitation. She has also argued before the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, prevailing in a case involving a violation of a restraining order.

As a defense attorney, Christine continues to provide excellent legal guidance to members of the community. She is available seven days a week to answer questions and help guide her clients through the criminal justice system.
