Best There Is

If they had 10 Stars, I would have given Christy 11!. Christine is no nonsense, and will be open and honest throughout your court process. Christine saves my life and returned me to my family sooner than ever expected. The expected timetable was 1year and in 90 days Christy worked her magic and I am ...all set with the courts. I would recommend her to anyone for anything! From the bottom of my heart. Thank You Christy !

An AAA+ Attorney

Attorney Maltby is a very Professional, intelligent, compassionate Lawyer. I met her on the day of my arraignment. where she was helping the court clearing arraignment dockets. I did not have a lawyer and I was worried about the outcome of my case. I also did not qualify for a public attorney. Th...e Judge asked me if I had counsel and I said that I did not. The judge asked the lawyers in the room if any could represent me at least in the arraignment. Attorney Maltby volunteered and got me through my arraignment. She then explained that she was a private lawyer and she could represent me if I needed a lawyer. I took her card and called her that night. Right away she made me comfortable, she explained the process and we spoke about her fee which I found to be reasonable. My case was dropped this last week. Attorney Maltby was easy to communicate with. she answered all my calls and text . If you need a criminal lawyer I highly recommend Attorney Maltby

No Nonsense!

The minute I was assigned Christine she was strictly business, told me what I had already known, don't talk to anyone, even God if he asks you about this case. I was charged with Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon and resisting arrest! With the times we live in right now she played the feel... of the room and understanding her role of lawyer and me needing to beat this as a single dad, waited out the DA for almost a year, shot down their 1st offer because she knew she could beat it! Christine also had a good look at my record and it's an uphill battle with 20 years of such offenses but she never blinked, was incredibly confident and has the looks and the voice of a woman that decided she was going to build her reputation beating up on the big boys! Today she did that, had the case thrown out, and I went from the possibility of being charged not just for this crime but with my history, this could very well have been a case she would knock someone out in a trial! 1st day I had her I knew she would beat it and she knew I needed her to beat it so that I could get on with life and be the single dad i am but without anything hanging over my head! I am a free man without having to plea to anything at all in any regard! Christine Maltby is saved in my phone and is the 1st number I call should I ever find myself in a compromising position like this again! Thank you to Christine for playing her hand and calling by pushing her own chips and confidence that is unmistakable to the middle of the table! She is going to win and win big eventually and when she does, she'll remember the little cases she hit off the T but then turn on the curveball sent in a huge trial and win that one easily! I didn't expect to see anything but a 5 star review for Christine and if it ever drops its because somehow someway someone has buried themselves and Christine couldn't couldn't get enough shovels to cause reasonable doubt! I'm honored to have had the opportunity to be respected and represented by a Public Defender that acted as tho she was paid 500 dollars an hr! Thank you Ms. Maltby! I owe you big time!

MS

I can't speak highly enough of my attorney; Christine A Maltby. She was appointed on 4/30/19, by the Quincy court, to represent me; as my defense attorney, in a criminal case. From our introduction and through several court appearances; ending on 10/11/19, Christine was always respectful, pati...ent, sympathetic and very knowledgeable. She helped me through perhaps the worst five plus months of my life. Each time we had to appear in court, Christine would explain to me exactly what would happen, what I should do and say and more importantly; what I shouldn't do or say. Christine helped me to navigate the criminal court system; which I had no previous experience with. She answered my seemingly endless questions patiently and thoroughly. She was very sympathetic to the fact that this whole process was completely foreign to me and overwhelmingly stressful. The trait I would stress and praise the most is the fact that on our last court date, 10/11/19, Christine went completely above and beyond what her job as my defense attorney required; even while dealing with a personal family tragedy. I had Christine whether I would get blank motion forms at the clerk's office or at the probation office. (I was trying to get approval for changes to the terms of my probation.) The next thing I know, Christine is filling-out the motion form for me so that we could possibly get the motion heard that same day! I'm absolutely positive that without Christine going the extra mile and her legal expertise, the outcome would not have been as incredibly positive for me. An outcome I hadn't even thought was possible! Christine got the judge to agree that I did not have to complete community service due to several chronic health conditions. Then she got the judge to agree to waive the monthly probation fee. Then she got the judge and a representative from the Quincy probation office to agree that a letter from my PCP could be substituted for a mental health assessment which my health insurance company wouldn't pay for and that I couldn't afford to pay for. The most surprising and astounding part of the day is when she got the judge to agree to change my probation from supervised to administrative which means I no longer need to meet with my probation officer or have him conduct a home visit! This was not something I had even dared hope for when the day began. I would recommend Christine Maltby as an attorney to anyone who needs a criminal defense attorney and wants to be treated with respect, sympathy, kindness, patience and a client who wants someone very knowledgeable of criminal law and is able to navigate the complicated court system with ease. Most importantly, Christine will go above and beyond what is required of her in order to help her client as much as possible!

Excellent

I was in a panic and desperately needed an attorney. Christine came to me as a referral from a friend(also an attorney). Christine was respectful and professional throughout the entire process. She was always available to answer questions when needed and made sure I was well taken care of before, dur...ing, and after my court date. Because of her, I got my charges dismissed. She is an excellent lawyer and I would highly recommend her.
