I just concluded a two-day trial with attorney Lamanna and I want to share my experience in case there are other people out there experiencing the same pain, frustration and emotional distress in their custody matter as I was. Let me start by saying that I had an intake interview with Ms Lamanna in M...arch 2022, I spent 3 days interviewing attorneys in Massachusetts as I urgently needed to retain one, she was recommended to me by a another parent that had worked with her. My binder is one of thickest that you can find in the probate court, over 250 pleadings, 13 years of litigation, extremely complicated case with an opponent counsel that would purposedly delay responses, the production of discovery, will give inappropriate responses at times… The first thing that stroke me was that within minutes looking at her computer (my file) she was able to discover that the judge didn’t make a ruling in a previous two-part contempt, something that my previous counsel that I just fired never caught in 5 months. Second, I felt her empathy, someone that listened to me, as a human and as a mother. Attorney Lamanna is BRILLIANT, assertive, thorough, detailed oriented, honest with her clients, knows the law from A to Z. Nothing, absolutely nothing falls through the cracks with her. As a result, you start feeling supported, relaxed….as if a load of bricks were taken off your shoulders. You know that you are paying someone to actually defend you, advocate for you and fight for you in every possible way. I have been erased from my daughter’s life for the past 5 years. I entered this trial with an enormous amount of anxiety, doubts and questions, and attorney Lammana “grabbed me by the hand” along this process to reassure to me that I wasn’t alone in this battle. If you have a case similar to mine you will understand the importance of this as many attorneys just want to take your money and they actually do seem to work for the court, not for you. Attorney Lamanna doesn’t get intimidated by opponent counsel’s unethical or defiant behavior, she reads between the lines of things, she is EXTREMELY good and articulated in making her point across in a court room. If you have a family case that needs a caring, intelligent and assertive attorney my suggestion is that you have a consultation with Ms Lamanna. If you retain her, you will be able to sleep better and have less stress in your life. She isn’t just “an attorney” she is your partner and ally in helping you bring more peace and justice to your life. I want to take this opportunity to thank not only attorney Lamanna but her entire staff for the great job they did during my trial process, working until late hours to ensure we were completely ready for trial.

I can not put into words the gratitude and admiration I have for Attorney Lamanna. She is brilliant in the courtroom. When I first saw her in action she was defending a father who was made out to be a terrible person by the other party. They were so convincing. I thought the man was a scumbag. As soo...n as she started talking she unraveled their story quickly, clearly showing the mother was a liar. Needless to say, the man won the contempt charge that day. I followed her out of the courtroom and asked for her number. It was the best decision I could have made. She does not file frivolous motions. She will literally save you thousands of dollars because of this. Do not expect her to bend the truth. She will tell you when you’re wrong and guide you to do the right thing. She is exceptional at what she does, but more importantly she is genuinely a good person.

In a contempt hearing , where I clearly went against orders , she brilliantly saved me , after the hearing a police officer came up to Jennifer to ask for her info . I have known attorney Lamanna professionally for about a decade.  At no point during this time, over the course of several professional engagements, have I found her to be anything other than highly professional, ethical, and astutely knowledgable about the subject matters in dispute.  It is difficul...t for me to comprehend the comments of this shameful anonymous reviewer as throughout each dealing with Atty Lamanna she very clearly stated not only multiple courses of action highlighting very clearly the costs associated with each course but strategies to keep those costs down. The one time I did not engage Atty Lamanna for a matter in dispute, and only because she felt she was not knowledgable enough in this area of law to represent me best, I regret wholeheartedly that I was unable to convince her to represent me as I feel her representation of my matter would have far exceeded the representation I received from a supposed expert in the field.  If you have a legal matter in dispute, don't walk, RUN to Atty. Lamanna.  She will listen to you, advise you knowledgably, even if to refer you to the best attorney to work with you.  I find it offensive that this cowardly reviewer, who will not provide their name, states she is a money grubber.  I continue to owe her for my representation both in gratitude and financially.  She has never overcharged me or upsold me on services that were not necessary.  Clearly this reviewers sole goal is to disparage this super attorney.  I can only presume that something was very very wrong with their legal matter or behavior if Atty. Lamanna is no longer representating them. Most importantly, Atty. Lamanna has a rock solid reputation amongst her peers and is the attorney other attorneys hire and consult with. Why should you settle for less. I didn't, well, actually once. Never again.
