I just concluded a two-day trial with attorney Lamanna and I want to share my experience in case there are other people out there experiencing the same pain, frustration and emotional distress in their custody matter as I was. Let me start by saying that I had an intake interview with Ms Lamanna in M...arch 2022, I spent 3 days interviewing attorneys in Massachusetts as I urgently needed to retain one, she was recommended to me by a another parent that had worked with her. My binder is one of thickest that you can find in the probate court, over 250 pleadings, 13 years of litigation, extremely complicated case with an opponent counsel that would purposedly delay responses, the production of discovery, will give inappropriate responses at times… The first thing that stroke me was that within minutes looking at her computer (my file) she was able to discover that the judge didn’t make a ruling in a previous two-part contempt, something that my previous counsel that I just fired never caught in 5 months. Second, I felt her empathy, someone that listened to me, as a human and as a mother. Attorney Lamanna is BRILLIANT, assertive, thorough, detailed oriented, honest with her clients, knows the law from A to Z. Nothing, absolutely nothing falls through the cracks with her. As a result, you start feeling supported, relaxed….as if a load of bricks were taken off your shoulders. You know that you are paying someone to actually defend you, advocate for you and fight for you in every possible way. I have been erased from my daughter’s life for the past 5 years. I entered this trial with an enormous amount of anxiety, doubts and questions, and attorney Lammana “grabbed me by the hand” along this process to reassure to me that I wasn’t alone in this battle. If you have a case similar to mine you will understand the importance of this as many attorneys just want to take your money and they actually do seem to work for the court, not for you. Attorney Lamanna doesn’t get intimidated by opponent counsel’s unethical or defiant behavior, she reads between the lines of things, she is EXTREMELY good and articulated in making her point across in a court room. If you have a family case that needs a caring, intelligent and assertive attorney my suggestion is that you have a consultation with Ms Lamanna. If you retain her, you will be able to sleep better and have less stress in your life. She isn’t just “an attorney” she is your partner and ally in helping you bring more peace and justice to your life.
