I was fortunate to have Kevin Corr represent me during my divorce in 2001, and again more recently in 2017, due to an issue with compliance. Kevin is intelligent, savvy, aggressive and persistent – in the best way. He always “had my back”, providing thoughtful and compassionate counsel based on h...is extensive legal knowledge and years of experience in the courtroom. When my husband and I separated, our children were five, seven and eight years old. Kevin consistently maintained their welfare and best interests as his top priority. Sixteen years later, he still focused on their needs. A skilled negotiator, he thinks outside the box and brings a unique, carefully considered strategy to the table. Whether I liked his recommendations or not (and sometimes I really didn’t) I definitely trusted Kevin. That is huge to anyone going through a divorce who knows what it is like to lose your trust in a partner. To apply nursing terminology, Kevin is astute in his assessment of a situation, in planning, writing and implementing a separation agreement. He is first and foremost an ethical lawyer; he has a strong moral compass and approaches his work with great integrity. His commitment to making the best of a bad situation, balancing the needs of both parties and making sure the children come out on top puts him at the top of the “A” list in my opinion.

I hired Kevin to assist me in a resolving an unusual and unique situation resulting from my divorce. The issue I had was complicated with many moving parts. Kevin was able to quickly understand and identify the problem. He then used his creative skills to ascertain and outline a strategy. It was ...important to Kevin to be comfortable and certain of the accuracy of my facts with solid proof and evidence. Therefore, he made an informed decision as to whether or not to move forward. In turn, this made me comfortable as I was confident that he would not have taken my case if he did not firmly believe in the merits of it. While Kevin has an unassuming demeanor, he shows assertiveness and strength in the courtroom. Furthermore, he is extremely easy to work with. He sticks to the facts and keeps his thoughts at a high level while focusing on only what is relevant, therefore, is always conscience of time and not wasting it. His presentations are clear, concise and to the point. It was apparent from watching him interact with his peers that he is highly respected and has an excellent reputation. I am thrilled to have had the opportunity to work with Kevin.

I felt so lucky to have Kevin as my lawyer in my divorce case and he is one of the smartest people I know. He is very straightforward and honest, and won't "sugar coat" things. This is one quality in particular I found to be very helpful--Kevin helped to keep me focused on the task at hand (my divo...rce), and helped me keep my emotions out of the strategy. My divorce was difficult, but Kevin really came through for me each step of the way, and in the end and I was very satisfied with the outcome. I should also mention he is very easy to talk to about anything, and is a kind person (but a very tough lawyer--and that was the point)!
