Kevin Corr: The Fierce Advocate You Need in Your Corner

Although my divorce was finalized in 2013, I have been in and out of court for the past decade. Due to the pandemic, I lost my job, and my former husband continued to demand alimony payments while refusing to contribute a single dime to our children's college tuition. I had no choice but to file for ...a modification with the court. After consulting with my previous lawyer and Kevin Corr, I found that Kevin is more strategic, action-driven, and qualified. Despite the initial hope for a simple and fair settlement, the aggressive opposing party refused to cooperate, and we had to take this matter to trial. The trial was challenging and costly, but we remained determined to pursue justice and stand against bullying. Fortunately, justice was served, and we won big. The judge ruled in my favor, and I no longer have to pay alimony. To make things even sweeter, my ex-husband was ordered to refund me a portion of the alimony from the prior year. I am grateful for the outcome and the fairness of the legal system. Kevin and his colleague, Lauren Galloway, were highly skilled, strategic, and genuinely concerned about my well-being throughout my legal ordeal. Kevin remained determined to help me overcome the poor advice and decisions made by my former lawyers. He was well-prepared for every court appearance during our trial, demonstrating impressive intelligence, poise, and delivery. I highly recommend Kevin Corr and his team from Kates & Barlow, PC.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
