The Best!
Brian was my lawyer for family court. He is a supportive, dedicated and talented lawyer. I am extremely happy with the outcome for my daughter and I. Before working with him, I felt helpless and scared about my situation. Even at my first meeting with him, I felt empowered. Even now, I feel in control of my situation and have a good understanding of my rights.

Wonderful Attorney
I purchased a home in January 2020 and hired Brian as my closing attorney. Brian is knowledgeable, intelligent, efficient, confident, and professional. He is also a perfect gentleman. He carried me through this process with ease. He always answered my calls, and any questions that I had. He made sure I was informed every step of the way, as the closing date drew near. I highly recommend Brian as an attorney. He goes above and beyond and gets the job done. Also, his staff is excellent. I truly appreciate their time, effort, knowledge and professionalism. Thank you Brian for all the advice and for looking out for my best interest. I can’t thank you enough.

Very Professional
I hired Brian to represent me on the sale of a piece of property. It became very complicated, as in torturous, due to zoning issues and the needs of the buyer. Long story short, Brian was always available at any time as well as invested in the outcome above and beyond reasonable expectations. If you need an attorney who will have your back without delay or debate then Brian is your man. I'd like to give a shoutout to his team as well. They conducted themselves with the same degree of interest and attention as the boss!

Fantastic Lawyer!
Before meeting with Brian, I felt extremely hopeless as I perceived my opponent was too powerful for me to prevail. During my first meeting with Brian, he radiated confidence and an exceptional level of expertise, compassion and skill in his craft. This combined with his honesty, good humor, and his care for the outcome for my family was paramount in his motivation, leads me to enthusiastically recommend Brian and his expert team! Despite the odds, we quickly prevailed!

Respectful, Compassionate and understanding.
When I met Brian and his team, right off the bat I felt like I had people who cared about my situation and who wanted nothing but the best for me and my daughter. From planning to mediation and then to court to finalize everything, I felt like I had a lawyer who not only wanted to see me succeed, but was rooting for me the whole way. I was very fortunate to come across Brian. If you are reading this you have found someone who sees his clients as human beings first! Words cannot describe how grateful I am. Thanks Brian!

Brian allowed my voice to be heard.
Brian is an exceptional attorney. My voice would have never been heard and I would still be "fighting" with my son's school had I not hired him to intercede. I will always be grateful to Brian for his help.

Hope's Closet
I am very grateful for the work provided by Brian, Ethan and the associates in the law office of Brian J McLaughlin JR. There were many details in forming a 501 (c) (3) and they took care of everyone of them. I truly appreciate all the time and effort he put into obtaining my non-profit status. Now our store is up and running, ready to help local charities in Weymouth and beyond.

Dedicated Lawyer
When I had sold my home, a friend of mine had recommended that I hire Brian as my attorney for the closing process. Not only did Brian have my best interest at heart, but he was extremely efficient and helped me to understand the entire process (which can be a very overwhelming process). Brian did an absolute fantastic job and I am forever grateful for his patience with me. If you’re looking for someone who has the knowledge, patience, desire to work hard and will put your needs first, I would highly recommend you give Brian a call.

Good ballance
Brian was able to strike the right balance of informing us about the law, the typically process if our case went to court, and how our issue scored on a moral level.

Eddie's IEP
My son has been in Early Intervention for the past year. He will be aging out at the end of January and starting with the Easton Public Schools. Although Brain is a great friend of mine I didn't think twice about asking him to guide me and work me through the IEP process. His level of knowledge is outstanding and even though we are close he always gave me unbias advice on Eddie. I went into the meeting wanting my son to get into the 5 full-day Itegrated Program. However, at the end of the meeting we left with a 4 half-day Intergrated Program with individualized services. Brian's compassionate honest words on Eddie at the meeting helped us develop a much better plan than was originally intended. I always felt that Brian had my son's best interest at hand. Having Brian involved in this process as a lawyer, advocate, mentor and friend made it go extremely smooth and it turned out to be a win win for all parties.

Special Education Advocate
We hired Brian McLaughlin as an advocate for our son so we could receive Special Education Services for him in the Boston Public Schools. Brian was on top of everything from the moment we sat down to discuss the circumstances, calling the Special Education Department and getting people to call us back and being a awesome representative at our Emergency IEP meeting. Brian truly cared about our son and was not just another child. He called on a regular basis just to check and see how I was doing and see what progress Liam was making. I would hire Brian again in a heartbeat.

Domesticated Judgment
Referred by Boston Lawyer referral, Brian was quick to help. He was honest in his assessment of his skills, kept me informed almost daily, and was more respectful of his adversaries than they deserved. Brian's task was to "domesticate" a judgment against a Massachusetts Company that was handed down in a Virginia Court. Before taking a fee, Brian told me he'd never done this before and would have to research the necessary steps to make certain he could help. When he told me he could handle the job his quote was fair and he went straight to work on my problem. With a couple of weeks he had secured the amount of the judgment plus interest. For me a most pleasant experience.

Compassionate Lawyer
Brian is a smart and hard-working attorney who always puts his client's needs first. He is a sympathetic and compassionate person who can identify with his clients' problems and shortcomings because he has faced adversity himself and triumphed over it. When he takes your case, Brian's goal is not to win at any cost, but to come to a fair and just resolution that works for everyone involved and tries to help everyone get on with their lives, which I believe is really important in divorce cases.

Child Support Case
Brian was an exceptional lawyer for handeling my child support case. i had been receiving child support but not mandated by court and not consistantly. Brian went above and beyond to help me and make sure he was getting me what I deserved. The whole process took about 2 months and I could not have asked for a better outcome. Brian was very thorough and wanted to make sure he had all the facts correctly. Brian kept in constant communication with me and I truly felt he was a friend and not just an attorney.

Child support, visitation
Attorney McLaughin did a great job making sure I understood what was happening from beginning to end. He and his assistant were very thorough. I felt supported and not rushed while in mediation with the other party.

Thank you for your help
Child custody cases are difficult and unfortunately it takes extreme cases for judges to award full legal custody to a parent when a parent has been abusive , even when a child doesn't want to see the other parent. It would be near impossible for me to be happy with the outcome...I was lucky to get supervised visitation because true to my exes pattern-his abusive behavior was documented in emails.
