REVIEW

First and foremost my lawyer took almost double from my settlement than he told me in writing What he would be taking. I was very upset as his assistant coached me into taking an offer and it felt to me as if it was a bait and switch. On top of him taking almost double than what he told me I was ta...xed on the money he received. When asked to structure the settlement differently so that I wasn't double taxed, he told me it was too much of a hassle. It also took way to long to settle my case. I was told initially that I could do my deposition in the state I reside in as I have health problems and this ended up not being the case so I was sort of forced to settle. I was very unhappy with the outcome and wish I read that he was a civil rights lawyer and not an employment lawyer which is what I needed.

I cannot provide any detail about my representation about this client without breaching attorney-client privilege, but I can assure everyone that what he says is not true. I was very clear upfront about what our fee was - we have the same signed agreement as I have with all my clients. The amount of taxes may have been surprising to him, but I made it clear that I am not a tax attorney. Also, I gave a discount to this client after he expressed dissatisfaction with his recovery (and he still wrote this review). The choice to settle was his, as it is all clients. Finally, I am an employment attorney as well as a civil rights attorney, contrary to this person's statement.

Great Lawyer

When I was terminated, I felt like I had nobody to turn to. Then I found Joseph Sulman, after our first meeting I felt like someone had my back. No promises but I knew I hired the right attorney when I left his office for the first time. joe always returned my calls and emails and had no problem answe...ring my questions which sometimes was the same questions as asked before. Joe was great on explaining the process and what to expect. When we settled joe made sure they sent the check quick. The check arrived in Saturday's mail and his partner went into the office to check the mail and then wrote me my check as he knew I needed it ASAP. I would recommend them to anyone having employment problems. The law office of joseph Sulman is the best in my opinion

Honest, Kind Lawyer...Outstanding!

Joseph L Sulman is Boston's Finest Lawyers, he is honest, reliable and respectful, I had nearly lost hope in finding such a reputable lawyer, until I found Sulman law firm, he was sincerely interested in helping me resolve my civil issue, his communication was clear and upfront, Mr. Sulman worked wit...h me to resolve my issue in a quick and stress less manner. Although I hope that I never have the need to use a lawyer in such a way again, but if so I would use the law office of Joseph L. Sulman as well as recommend his name to others in need of an excellent lawyer. He truly represents what all lawyers should be and strive to be. I wish him great success in helping future clients. Kind Regards
