As a businessperson, as well as an employment and business attorney, I proactively represent clients in litigation, the negotiation and drafting of contracts, handling compliance issues, the creation of corporate infrastructure, the drafting of policies, training of employees and leading companies towards organizational excellence.
I consider myself a skilled negotiator, mediator and investigator, with the ability to identify the root causes of the dispute and finding the best possible resolution. As a litigator, I am zealous and passionate about the cases that I handle and the results that I obtain. I’m fortunate to have been referred matters from the judiciary and from former adversaries.
I have been told that one of my greatest strengths is the ability to gain the confidence and trust of people at all levels of an organization, to identify their needs and to build teams to meet those needs.
Additionally, I have experience in developing corporate structure and creating infrastructure, organizational charts, job descriptions and disciplinary protocol. I play a critical role in identifying communication, morale and customer service issues, and then finding solutions to solve these problems to improve poor productivity. I re-energize the employees, so that the team has high morale, high productivity and improved customer service, which benefits both the individuals and the company.
I have experience working with federal, state and local governments, with respect to labor and wage issues, employee classification, RFPs, bids, investigation and benefits for bringing companies into a region. I have sat on the Board of Directors of the local bar association and other organizations and have chaired many committees.
