Simply the BEST!!!

Attorney Hurley changed my life. I was looking at debt that I could never pay back. In my early 50's and over 50,000 in debt and on SSDI. How in the world did I get here??? All of that did not matter to Maegan, she never made me feel a way. All she was concerned about was getting my debts dischar...ged so that I could start fresh. People do not realize how heavy debt is on your mental state. It takes all that you have. She made the process seem so simple and let me tell you it is confusing as heck. I was going to file pro se but that all changed once I got into the thick of it. I was referred to Attorney Hurley through the VLP (Volunteer Lawyers Project). I could not believe that this was happening, I actually was going to be able to start over with the help of an amazing attorney and her firm MDRF (Mass Debt Relief Foundation). Once all the paperwork was processed and filed it was just a waiting game. Attorney Hurley was very helpful through it all. I would recommend her to everyone!!!

Maegan Hurley is the Best Attorney You Can Hope to Find When You're Faced with the Daunting Process of Bankruptcy

Maegan is the most supportive, understanding, proactive, and effective attorney I could have ever hoped to find to assist me with filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. A little over three years ago I contacted the Mass Debt Relief Foundation because I had been diagnosed with a serious illness that made it... impossible for me to work enough to earn the money to pay off debts that began to spin out of control following my completion of graduate school. I was totally overwhelmed and did not know where to begin to look for help. I spoke to Maegan when I called the Mass Debt Relief Foundation, and within a week I was meeting with her and beginning the process. Then I dropped the ball for the next few years because I was completely overwhelmed with my illness. I thought I'd burned a very useful bridge and that I'd have to start from scratch with a new attorney when I was finally healthy enough mentally and physically to actually go through the filing process. But to my surprise when I contacted Maegan again she was still willing to work with me. This time when I met with her she simplified the process for me even more, allowing me to feel less overwhelmed. Like many legal endeavors filing for bankruptcy is very convoluted and confusing to those of us who didn't go to law school, and Maegan made it easy for me to understand. She promptly returned every email I sent her and every phone call I made to answer my questions along the way so that I always felt supported and empowered. She did her part in record time, she was so efficient. Additionally she was willing to advise me on legal issues that didn't end up having to do with my bankruptcy filing. She devoted a lot of time helping me to understand complicated processes and she continued to offer help with any additional legal questions I had even after the bankruptcy went through. If you need to file for bankruptcy and you want to take care of it quickly and efficiently so that you can move on with your life, Maegan is the right person to contact. On a personal note I think that what the Mass Debt Relief Foundation is doing to help people when they are experiencing a financial crisis is extremely important work. No one wants to file for bankruptcy, and this foundation, especially Maegan, helps you without judgement. They make the process relatively easy and quick. I am very grateful to Maegan and the Mass Debt Relief Foundation for helping me through the filing process and for all their support.

Professional, Competent and Speedy- Pro Bono Ch. 7

After much angst I begun browsing the computer for local bankruptcy attorneys and found Mass Debt Relief, I phoned the number provided, called and left a message without really expecting to hear back.. I knew nothing about bankruptcy and figured I wouldn't be qualified. I didn't own anything substant...ial and was not a business owner (soon I discovered those things were not a factor). I was totally anxious when she phoned me to conduct a short intake survey. I answered all her questions about my financial situation, though feeling pretty embarrassed about the state of my credit and financial struggles, Atty Hurley put to rest any self doubt i had and reassured me that "life happens" and that she could help me! Excited! Scare but Relieved! She explained the process and the work I would need to do so that she could successfully work our case. I assumed I'd have to take time off to prepare for what was ahead of us. Most of all our communicate was achieved through email. She was always prompt, detailed orientated and timely- answering all my questions patiently and truly alleviated any fear I had about the process. After much exchange of necessary documents, we met at her office to sign paperwork authorizing her representation as my Atty and with a deadline to complete the steps so she could file on my behalf sooner than later. I also received instructions for other online resources I would need to utilize, required fees if any and a date to appear in court, what to expect, what could happen, pros and cons, etc. Now, I know I was not her only client at this time but it always felt that way as she always stayed in contact, always returned calls, always pleasant and easy to talk to making this new experience for me seem like a walk in the park. Court date arrived...her demeanor and confidence made me feel good that day and just like that it was over. Atty Hurley went out of her way to send me friendly reminders regarding due dates/other requirements along the way, also what to expect next and when my case would close. I so would recommend her services and expertise. A heart of gold to be helpful to the public and truly provide help free of charge to those(me) who felt there was no way out! My sincerest Thank You to Attorney Meagan Hurley.
