Michael B. Cabral

I hired and paid Michael to review a commercial lease in 2019. I negotiated every edit/recommendation he made and then signed it. Fast forward 2 years: I've paid rent every month and still have not been able to open my business in the leased space I pay for. I first consulted with 4 other lawyers, a...ll of whom said my lease does a poor job of representing my interests and offered no recourse even though I cannot use the leased space I pay for. I called Michael to ask for his recommendation on how I should proceed. He told me that the lease (that he had reviewed) did not protect my business, did not offer any recourse, and then he billed me for the time it took him to tell me that I had no protection or recourse.
