Benjamin H. Duggan

When I first contacted Mr. Duggan, I was very distraught and worried because this was the first time in my life (I'm 31 years old) that I had a criminal case brought against me. I'll spare you the details, but needless to say it was a crime we both felt positive would be a good candidate for Pre Tria...l Probation. I had no record and from all I read outside of Mr. Duggan's advice, this was the most probable outcome. Fast forward 2 years later, and the case is finally resolved. Why is that? Politics. But Mr. Duggan never waivered. A case that shouldve been resolved in a matter of weeks, was unfortunately taken all the way to the day before a scheduled trial. It was the worst day in my life, the day I read the charges on that piece of paper; criminal charges were being filed against me; me who had never been in trouble before in my life. My first thought was that I need a lawyer, but I needed someone really, really good and someone who would be sympatheti...c and understanding of my situation. I was a single parent, new to the city, who made a very bad decision. My searches led me to Benjamin Duggan. He spent over an hour on the phone with me (at no cost) on our initial phone call. I was emotional and scared and told him my account of the story. Terrified was an understatement. I had already spoken with the police; not knowing any better, and probably already said a lot I shouldn’t have said. My final court date came and I ended up receiving the best sentence I could possibly have imagined. While maintaining privacy, I will tell you that this horrible situation can now be put far behind me and I can continue on with a happy life as Ben had reassured me many times. Although I will not ever need Ben again in this capacity (I’m staying far from trouble), he is the first person I would call if I were ever the victim or needed other legal help. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing representation and cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Benjamin Duggan.

I was party to a criminal case involving a failed business, loss of investor funds, and payment of restitution. I had never had any previous experience with criminal proceedings prior to this case. I was referred to Ben by an excellent lawyer friend of mine with whom I've worked in the past (unrelated to anything criminal) and have known for many years. I trust that lawyer deeply and his opinion means a great deal to me, so when he indicated that he could represent me but- as a friend and a la...wyer- felt that Ben was the better choice, I felt like he was setting his ego aside to make sure I got the best representation for my case. Let me start by saying that I was Facing any where from a minimum of 10 years to My whole life in jail, And yes it did take almost 2 1/2 years to beat. This guy was great he kept telling me like it was ( no sugar coating it). Plus gave me a lot of advice that made me look at things differently. He wa...s always on top of everything and I mean ( everything ). So much so that a week before trail it was over. I had My ( freedom ) back!!
