Laura was always so professional but always made me comfortable. She is down to earth when I needed to talk things out, and so honest when I needed to know about the big world I hadn't really been out in for a long, long time. I admired Laura's knowledge of the law and her strength to take on what ...

I wish I had read the blistering negative reviews on Yelp and Google Maps about this law firm before I hired them. This is how it went: On September 17, 2019, I deposited $7500 in my retainer account. On September 27, 2019 I deposited $20,000 in my retainer account. Just 13 business days later o...
Every client matter has a different set of circumstances, and a different way in which they fit into the law. No two matters are the same. As is explained to the client at the beginning of the process with our office, there are several stages to a case (we provide our clients with a matter addendum, to remind them of each stage). Depending on the conduct of the players involved, and if the client is privy to the financial circumstances, sometimes a client's matter necessitates a great deal of work to be done in a short amount of time, in order to protect the client's interests and ensure the client has the documents and information needed to move forward with properly preparing for the next hearing. Additionally, depending on the hourly rate of the attorney working on the matter (more experienced attorneys have a higher hourly rate) and the amount of work done, a replenishment of the retainer may be necessary. We strive to ensure that our clients are well informed form the very beginning of the process, which is why each client has the opportunity to ask any questions of an attorney at our office when reviewing the fee agreement. Through each stage of the process, our goal is to ensure that the client is able to appear before the Court, confidently stating that they believe an agreement is fair and reasonable and ensure that the client has the information necessary in their matter to back up that statement. Our fee agreements are frame-worked to ensure that legal fees can be contained as much as possible and the client can make the cognitive choice whether they would like to proceed to the trial stage with the firm or take another path. The attorneys at Cervizzi and Associates advocate zealously for each and every client, which often may require a great deal of work. The client is involved in the process each step of the way and the work is done in conjunction with their authorization. We urge clients to discuss concerns that they may have with our office, so that we can ensure they are educated on the process and what may be needed presently and in the future.
