I was in a bad car accident a few years ago and hired an attorney who didn't do much with the case. I decided to seek another lawyer and someone had recommended Attorney Donaghue. When I explained the circumstances of the accident, he immediately knew that we had a case and he explained how the cas...e would be handled, which insurance company he would contact, and what policy I was covered under. Throughout the case, he was quick to return my phone calls, kept me updated on the case, and kept on top of the insurance company. When the insurance company offered a settlement, Attorney Donaghue was honest about what sort of an offer would have been acceptable. He explained every step of the way and answered all my questions. The accident was difficult for me and Attorney Donaghue was very understanding of that. He really pushed the case forward and the case has now reached a resolution that I am very happy with. I highly recommend him.

A week after my OUI arrest, Paul went over my case and was very confident that he could get me off of the OUI charge, and he did exactly that. He explained everything that was happening very clearly, and knew the OUI laws inside and out. My case ended in a not guilty finding on the OUI. I was very... pleased with his work, and would recommend him to anyone who finds themselves in the same circumstances.

Attorney Donaghue handled my OUI 2nd offense case. I was arrested and had a ,15 breath test. He told me that we could get the test thrown out by getting the whole stop thrown out because the police didn't have a legal reason to stop me. Well, we had a motion to suppress in court (Ayer) and the... judge ruled that the police did have a right to stop me. We went to trial and lost, as we expected. We appealed the judge's decision denying the motion to supprerss all of the evidence because of the bad stop. Two years later the appeals court ruled in my favor (July 18, 2011) and said the motion should have been allowed. They ordered my guilty finding reversed and ordered judgment in my favor. It was a long 2 years, but Attorney Donaghue did everything he said he would. It was strange listening to the appeals court judges at the appeal say the same things that he had told me about why the motion should have been allowed. In the end, he was nothing short of spectacular, in the court and in helping me get my license back with the registry. I would recommed him in a heartbeat. And he didn't charge me an arm and a leg.

Attorney Donaghue represented me for a drunk driving case. I was arrested by the state police at a sobriety roadblock and took a breathaslyzer which was .09. He told me that we would try to get the whole case thrown out because the police didn’t follow the proper procedure. He also said if we c...ouldn’t get the whole thing thrown out, at least we’d get the breath test thrown out because the police didn’t follow the right rules for that. We had a hearing in court a few weeks ago and the judge said the state police didn’t do the roadblcok right. She also said that the breathalyzer wasn’t done right either and she said all of the evidence was thrown out. After that, the D.A. dismissed the case. Everything happened so fast in court, that I wasn’t quite sure what happened, but I knew it was something very good. When Attorney Donaghue explained to me what happened, I couldn’t stop smiling, I was so happy. I was so glad, the first thing I did was call the person who recommended him to me and thank them. I will recommend him to anyone I know, he was great. He did what he said he was going to do and what he charged was reasonable.
