About Me

Since graduating from Gonzaga University School of Law, I have primarily focused my efforts on criminal defense – representing clients accused of a wide range of felonies, misdemeanors and infractions.  I also have significant experience with plaintiff’s personal injury cases, civil defense, administrative issues and employment law.  I have a particular passion for representing plaintiffs subjected to nursing home neglect or abuse.  While I spend most of my days in the courtroom, I have also submitted several appellate briefs to the Washington Supreme Court and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.  I have represented clients in the courts of Pierce, King, Kitsap, Thurston, Snohomish, Mason, Pacific, Kittitas, Cowlitz, Grant, Benton, Yakima, Whatcom, and Lewis Counties.  I have trial experience in both State and Federal Courts.  I believe there are no unwinnable cases, and that oral advocacy skills in the courtroom are secondary to the research and analysis necessary to weaken the opponent’s case and ultimately achieve the best result for the client.  I am licensed to practice law in all Washington State courts, as well as federally, in the Western District of Washington.
