About Me

I am fortunate to be able to work for decent people in times of need. My services are effective, compassionate, and tailored for each individual client.

Here are some types of cases that the Law Office of Bart Parsley typically handles:

Immigration-related issues such as:
--Family-based processing matters (adjustment of status and consular processing)
--Removal litigation
--Handling detention-related matters
--Bond hearings
--Cancellation of removal for lawful permanent resident, non-permanent residents
--Asylum, withholding of removal, and convention against torture
--U-visas and VAWA cases involving survivors of crimes or abuse
--Student visas
--Employment-based visas

Immigration interests me because I have cherished living and studying in Latin America. I have been fortunate to enjoy fulfilling friendships from people of diverse backgrounds and circumstances, leading me to new understandings about myself and others. The US is a country of immigrants; I support people of various backgrounds who come here to forge a better life.

Employment-related issues such as:
--Contract disputes
--Severance agreements
--Unemployment compensation and appeals
--Discrimination in the workplace (sex, sexual orientation, race, age)
--Wage Claims

I have also conducted all aspects of a civil trial from start to finish, including commencing legal actions, taking depositions, drafting interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission, developing case strategy, researching case and statutory law, drafting and orally arguing for motions for summary judgment, negotiating settlements, participating in mediation, and appealing decisions.

Workplace issues are important to me because I believe in strong teams. A dynamic team with an inclusive philosophy from top to bottom inspires each member to realize potential. Americans are among the world's most productive workers in one of the most competitive economies, so we deserve the rule of laws that promote respect in the workplace.
