Description: Representing Plaintiff R.L. Alia in conjunction with Bill Leedom of BB&L, along with co-counsel Simon Forgette and Murray Kleist, and representing Third Party Defendant Greenwich Insurance Company along with Bill Leedom, obtained on eve of trial a $12.95 million settlement for bad faith failure to defend against the Royal entities, a primary CGL insurer with policy limits of only $1 million. Proceeded to trial against excess insurer ICSOP. Settled with ICSOP on eighth day of trial for $4.4 million.
