We hired Edward for a Measure 11 case against our Son. Not knowing the Legal or Judicial System we really were overwhelmed with what to do. After meeting Edward for an initial consultation, my Husband, Son and I were completely in agreement that he was our Attorney.
Edward was amazing. He has the career background to know how each side works as well as the very important connections. The details on how he puts it, "Threading the Needles" was perfectly implemented. He is fine tuned from start to finish and leaves no detail unnoticed.
Hiring an Attorney is such an important investment, and Edward is worth his weight!
Our outcome could not have been better and we are very Thankful for our decision in hiring Ed Kroll~

I hired Edward Kroll when I was charged with a DUII. In the first trial, he was able to ensure that my CDL wasn't suspended, therefore saving me plenty of time and money. When it came time for my trial, I informed Mr. Kroll that I had lost my job and wouldn't be able to afford to pay him. He asked me one question, "Are you innocent?", to which I answered "Yes!" That was all he needed to put himself on the line for my freedom and justice. Mr. Kroll was nothing but professional and steadfast during the jury trial. He truly showed his gift for "reading the room" and bringing the facts to light, instead of opinion. It took the jury eight(8) minutes to decide that I was NOT GUILTY. I cannot say enough kind things about Mr. Kroll. He has truly restored my faith in the legal system and humanity itself.

My first time having any trouble with the law, I was arrested under assault in the second degree and unlawful use of a weapon, I made the mistake of talking to the police before talking to an attorney and was looking at a minimum of 70 months in prison. This being my first offence, I couldn't believe at the time I was looking at, especially because I felt that my side of the story wasn't being looked at thoroughly. A family member hired Ed Kroll as my attorney, and as soon as I spoke with him about my case I knew that hiring him was an excellent decision. Not only did Ed want to hear my side of the story, he genuinely wanted to help. Although I had made the mistake of speaking to the police before hiring an attorney, in the end, the measure 11 charge was dropped, as was the unlawful use of the weapon. Ed had made a plea deal with the DA and I walked out of court with probation only. Not only did Ed genuinely care, but he was always quick to respond to any questions. He was always very honest and straightforward. He took the time to make sure that I had the best deal possible in my situation, and that is exactly what happened. I highly suggest this lawyer, even after I made the error of talking to the police before a lawyer, he still got me an incredible deal. If it wasn't for Ed, I would be spending the next 70 months sitting in prison at only twenty years old. Thank you Mr.Kroll.
I also want to note the office staff- Very helpful, supportive and all very great personalities.
Overall performance - Absolutely phenomenal.

I was referred to Ed by another attorney for this case. From the beginning, I knew that it was going to be a tough case. It was my word against the traffic police. I was unsure if the fact that I had refused the breathalyzer test was going to hurt or help my case. But one thing for sure was that my previous DUIs caused this case to be a criminal case with a possible 90-day jail time and a lifetime suspension of my license. I knew I had to win.
Ed kept me informed and never made unrealistic promises. He was honest and straightfoward. I was most impressed with Ed on the day of trial. He not only dressed to impress but also had his game face on. The district attorney was no match for him. He was thorough and effective during the juror selection process. Ed's cross examination forced the officer to make mistakes that worked in our favor. Ed came prepared with strong evidents and won the jurors over with his convincing opening and closing statements. His performance made the DA look like a newbie.
Overall I was very pleased with Ed's performance regardless of the outcome. However, I'm glad that we won the case. I would definitely recommend Ed to anyone I know. His performance speaks for itself.

Got me an excellent deal, kept me out of prison. What I mentioned initially as would be a success in this case, was completely met by him. Glad I found him, and that he was ready to accept my case.

Ed scored a touchdown and made the two point conversion on my case. Simply put, he blew the prosecution out of the water. For this, I am eternally grateful. It was a pleasure to watch from a front row seat. Being a former prosecutor, he has the inside track on the game inside the courthouse, and he always keeps it professional -- above the fray. In doing so, he builds rapport with judges and prosecutors alike. Rapport that will later pay dividends as he can score favorable pre-trial treatment, waivers of appearances, modifications of release agreements, and the like. Ed knows which battles to fight, and then still takes the prosecution’s lunch.
I was accused of a misdemeanor, and opted to defend rather than accept a plea deal. Even as I was dealt numerous callback resets by the court, Ed and his firm stood by me throughout. At each reset, my case would get stronger and not weaker. In the runup to my trial, he had a razor focus on my case, and continued that way throughout the trial. He was able to compellingly summarize the facts of my case, articulate a succinct defense, and cite the relevant case law. Come trial time, he made the prosecution squirm, and their witnesses, including police, crumble. This is not a simple accomplishment, but a master in true form, Ed made it look easy. It requires strategy, attention to detail, a fast mind, and a person that can think on their feet to handle the prosecutor in real time as the accusations fly in the courtroom. Stunning oratory skills, superb litigator, persuasive, and to-the-point, I would trust Ed to represent me again, bar none.
- Phenomenal prep throughout the case
- Seamlessly integrated expert testimony
- Excellent presentation of audio/video evidence
- Once judge was assigned, laid out specific advantages/disadvantages of jury vs. bench trial – and he was correct!
- Ordering of defense witnesses to achieve maximum advantage
- Prosecution witnesses - what to expect from each, and how to counter.
- My heart hung on every word that Ed said in court…I felt it was all substantial
- Great office support staff – I worked with April, Matt, and Sarah, all great personalities and very helpful. Thanks again!

He kept me out of prison all 4 charges were dropped even with a previous history of similar charge! I was facing prison time, and I thought my young 19 year old life was over! , but he showed me there is always hope even when they call you guilty and make you prove other wise.. and for this I owe him so much more than was paid, he is the best lawyer I've worked with or talked to. If you need a lawyer that will do everything he can for you, Edward kroll is the only one I could recommend with your life.

I was charged with a diversion-inelligible DUI and two counts of reckless endangerment. The fact is, I made a terrible mistake and I'll never make it again, but this could have ruined my life. Mr. Kroll managed to plead my case down to diversion and reckless driving. Other lawyers I talked to told me diversion was impossible and I'd have to go to trial, but with Mr. Kroll's help, the DUI is going off my record.
He got me a better deal than I ever thought possible. He was honest, supportive, communicative, non-judgmental, and charged a fair price.

I was charged with 4 felony counts. I had interviewed 5 diff attorneys to represent me cos i needed the best.
I finally decided on Edward Kroll. He wasnt d cheapest nor was he the most expensive. His price was just right. But my life was more important than the money.
He told me wat all my option were.if convicted i will be goin to prison,or i could take a plea with d state which means i have a felony record with probarbly no prison time or we go to trial..and he will argue my case till the end.
I decided to go to trial even when most of the cards were stacked against me.
Right from d jury selection process through closing Mr Kroll brought his A game.
Win or loose i would still hire this young man. He will come to war with d biggest weapon..
The jury found me Not Guilty BTW on all count
Thank you Mr Kroll for giving me my life back
The whole 2day trial Felt like an episode out of the tv show "the practice" and he was Bobby Donnel played by dylan Mcdermott
The best decision i ever made in my life was hiring mr Kroll. I am still in shock
If you are reading this and need legal advice on anything, you need to be calling him right now!!
