I hired Bruce for a first offense DUI case in the Lake Tahoe area. His price was substantially higher than the rest of the attorneys I called, but his online reviews were quite good, and he was the only lawyer who promised he could keep my case out of my home state of MA. (I was in California on vacation at the time). To make a long story short, my case was not kept out of MA, and my MA license was suspended the day after my right to drive was suspended in CA due to the national drivers registry. His office is quite busy with a lot of cases, and I do not feel like my case was looked at very thoroughly. Phone conversations are cut extremely short, and several promises and thoughts on his part turned out to be completely false. My sentence was exactly what it would have been if I had no lawyer at all. Maybe he is good at certain areas of DUI cases, but they seemed to be useless in my case. If he was upfront about the probability of the results, I would not have paid the extra 4k for a losing case.

Mr. Kapsack was an excellent attorney representing my case, and with a solid outcome. The entire firm of Kapsack and Bair were very professional and well-versed in the details of these types of cases. I would highly recommend him and his firm to anyone in need of a DUI attorney.

this guy only does DUI law and he know it inside and out.

No Lawyer can guarantee a result. You don't offer any details of your case, so nobody can see why you were convicted. Rating Kapsack on a 1 out of 5 on Knowledgeable is ignorant at best, and plain dishonest if you had any dealings with him at all. Your entire rating is suspect at best. Kapsack is one of the top DUI experts in the Country, and certainly the most knowledgeable in Lake Tahoe.
