Nors appeared on my behalf at multiple DMV APS and pre trial hearings saving me a LOT of time. Although my case ultimately settled pre trial with some good and bad aspects overall Nors is really an expert in the area of VC25102. If you ever find yourself in the unfortunate situation of needing representation in this area of the law you will be well served with Nors.

I had the misfortune of getting arrested for a second DUI 6 years after my first. I had retained a very well-respected attorney on my first case so I knew, more or less, what to expect. Upon doing a little research I came across Nors and spoke with him about my case. Based on the results of my first conviction, I didn't have high hopes for this one (especially with a .12 BAC) but Nors made me feel like he could really make a difference -- boy was he right!
Throughout the entire process, I was thoroughly impressed with how down to earth, likeable, funny, knowledgeable and most importantly, how effective he is at his job. A 2nd offense is a daunting experience and by no means was it fun but having Nors by my side relieved a lot of the stress because I knew I was in good hands even before there was an outcome. His natural easy-going personality helped make me feel like my life wasn't over and it made all the difference in feeling less alone in this scary matter.
Nors always briefed me on what to expect and was honest about my chances for relief. That made it all the more surprising when he came out of the courtroom with an amazing deal -- a reduced charge of wet reckless on my 2nd conviction! I could not even get a wet reckless on my first offense with a lawyer so I was over the moon and absolutely shocked at the outcome. I ended up not having to do jail time, SWOT, community service, or even DUI school.
I cannot begin to express my gratitude and how pleased I was with Nors' ability to convince the court for relief on my behalf. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone with a DUI/DWI case regardless of how horrible you think your case looks. Nors is a world-class attorney in his field and if anyone can help, it's him!

I found Nors Davidson to be extremely helpful and more importantly effective when seeking legal counsel. He was very straightforward with me and explained both the situation and options clearly. He did everything he said he would, was prompt with responses and very professional when in court and the DMV. Everything that Nors told me would happen did indeed play out as described in regards to penalties and plea possibilities. There were no surprises or unexpected snafus.
I highly recommend Nors for his legal expertise and professional mannerism. I am very glad I chose him as my lawyer and would do so again if need be.

I was pulled over and accused for a DUI in fall of 2014 and never having done this before, a lawyer friend advised me to contact Nors. I contacted one other lawyer prior to Nors and then gave him a call afterwards. Both lawyers told me that because my case was in Pleasanton, it's much harder because the area is more conservative. First thing he told me was to calm down and assess the situation together. At the time I did a few blows of the breath analyzer and blood work. In this situation, it was hard to say what to do because we had no results or numbers to go by. I took bart one afternoon with my brother to meet Nors and he was very welcoming. We spoke about the case and the strategy that he would do, but at this point since we didn't know anything from the case, and would have to wait it out. He's very personable and a friend recommended him, so I decided to go with Nors. With my case it was unique, because from august through december we didn't have a court date, while dmv kept wanting to do a hearing. Nors developed strategies for both sides. He explained that since the court had not accused me of anything yet formally and we didn't know the blood work, we couldn't test it and use it as evidence in the dmv hearing. Only thing we could do at the moment was wait it out. Then in January I finally had a court date, by this time we knew some of the evidence. Prior to court date, we spoke about the worse case scenarios and the best case scenarios. One of the base case scenarios is if we could reduce the sentence to wet reckless, only a 12 hr (6 week dui class session), with just a fine, and stamp the whole thing with a helmandollar plea that would be amazing. With the Helmandollar plea, if we get dismissed with dui charges, then because dmv is waiting on dui charge and it isn't, they have to give me back my driving license. But I was forewarned, this scenario is very hard to come by, especially in pleasanton courts, and especially adding the Helmandollar plea. To get the Helmandollar Plea, both the prosecutor and judge have to agree too. But on that day, Nors being a connected guy, knew one of the prosecuters, and the deal was made. From Nors himself, he was happy with how the case turned out, and it was a great result. Happy I found Nors. From the beginning I said I needed to get the best result, because after this I had to deal with my professional board, so the lowest and least thing possible will definitely help me there. And as a result here, the board of my profession is looking good too. Thanks Nors and team!

Nors is very knowledgeable and professional. He understands the nature of the case and puts together a solid, comprehensive defense. Having him represent me gave me a sense of security without setting unreasonable expectations for the outcome. I'd highly recommend him for anyone in a similar situation. Thanks, Nors.

I was arrested with a .14 BAC and retained a local DUI attorney in Pleasanton. The lawyer I hired was a DUI specialist, member of California DUI Lawyers Association, with some 40 years experience. He sucked, did nothing for me except waste 18 months, recommendI take a DUI conviction, 9 month school, etc etc. I launched a search for a new lawyer and interviewed 5 of the top rated. After meeting Nors I immediately new he was the right guy. He is a very warm and engaging person who genuinely cares about your situation. And he's an excellent lawyer. In just one conference he was able to get my case plead to wet reckless with much lower penalties. Can't say enough good things about him. If you want an attorney who you can talk to like a real person, cares about you, is expert on the law, and an expert negotiator, this is your guy too.

I contacted Nors for a first offense DUI. I had no idea what to do or expect. He was able to walk me through the steps and help me understand the strategy for my defense. He was able to get my DUI school reduced, # of days of SAP reduced and transferred closer to where I live, and reduce the time I would have to be without a license. It was well worth the money and I would definitely recommend him.

I was arrested for a DUI with a BAC of .14% without accident or injury. This was my first DUI. The tricky part is that I was moving out of the state a few weeks after I was pulled over, which really complicated everything I was going to have to do in order to get my license back. I contacted Nors, who was so personable and understanding. I could tell right away that he genuinely wanted to help me, and was not solely interested in making money off of my desperation for help. He gave me advice and offered solutions that I could have pursued without hiring a lawyer at all, but I still decided to go ahead and work with him. It was the best decision I could have made. He was able to minimize my fines, with no jail time or community service, and most importantly was able to allow me to complete my DUI class online so that I could continue with my move and be eligible to get an out of state license after I served my 6 month suspension. Nors is great and will work hard for all his clients, with a genuine interest in helping people above all. Thank you Nors!

Nors managed to help me have my 1st time DUI charge dropped to reckless driving with only 6 weeks of traffic school. Then for the dmv side I got to keep my license without any further penalties. Overall I would say it is a very good result.
My bac was .08 on the dot. Blood retest result came back after I entered the plea .07. But still fighting in court would have been tough due to other details. So the plea for wet reckless was I think a good deal though deeply wished it would have been a dismissal because of the .07.
For the dmv part I did pay extra to have a toxicologist testify in the dmv hearing. And, it was completely worth it. An extraordinary result I got to keep my license without any penalties except the 2 points on my record for wet reckless.
Overall Nors helped me out a whole lot. He is very professional and personable. Highly recommended.

Nors is a great lawyer! I got myself into an unfortunate position and needed to find a lawyer to represent me for a second DUI case. I called around and Nors was able to calm some of my anxieties down the first time I spoke with him. We got right to the point and I knew he was going to be the one who I wanted to represent me. He kept me informed with everything going on and anytime I had any questions, he wouldn't hesitate on making sure I understood everything I needed to know. He's very professional and you can tell how much passion he has for his job. He always works hard on trying to get the best outcome for his clients. He specializes in DUI cases so he's very knowledgeable in what he does. If you're ever in trouble, hire Nors!
