Brett Shainfeld put my husband's and my minds at ease the first time we spoke with him by telephone. And he successfully brought our vehicle nightmare of nearly 2-1/2 years to an end in just two months.

Steering troubles showed up in our 2010 Chevrolet Traverse just two months after we bought the car. The dealership tried to fix the problems, some of which seemed better for a time. Then another repair attempt was made, but only weeks later, we were almost killed in freeway traffic--on a vacation trip--when suddenly the power steering quit in the fast lane, without warning! It caused my big, strong, alert, quick-thinking-and-acting husband to lose control of the car so that a large truck narrowly missed hitting us--and angry drivers honked and hollered at us!

The nearest dealership had to keep the car a few days until needed parts arrived from out of state and were installed. This caused a lot of extreme inconvenience, but after we got the car back we hoped it was finally fixed and to put the experience behind us. However, steering problems reappeared before long, and we prayed often that the steering wouldn't quit on us again as we drove out of town to doctors and hospitals for life-saving procedures. The last time we even rented a vehicle to help ensure I got to the hospital on time. As the car's same old symptoms showed up, local dealership mechanics would check the vehicle and try to assure us that all was OK, but we'd been unnerved by the "near-death" experience caused by the power steering quitting and the inability of various mechanics to remove all the steering troubles.

Along the way, our local dealership was sold, so the new dealership tried to fix the car. When the entire steering column and every conceivable related part was replaced, but problems remained, an apologetic service employee told us they don't know how to fix it and would contact General Motors for advice. He said also that the steering noise would drive him "nuts." However, a few days later the service manager told me, "No, that's not how it is. That's normal." He was referring to the loud, obnoxious sounds the steering wheel made, even with the littlest movement. Also, there was unusual engine noise when the vehicle merely idled.

But, these steering-wheel and engine noises are so unusual that other persons made You Tube videos of them and posted these videos on the Internet. Further, my husband and I have driven many assorted vehicles over the 92 total driving years between us, plus ridden in many other vehicles, and never did we hear these awful sounds in any of them except our Traverse. So "normalcy" in this case is anything BUT normal. The car we otherwise loved sounded like an unreliable, unsafe hunk of junk!

Neither of us could have sold the car in good conscience to anyone else. Enter Brett Shainfeld to the rescue. I called Brett because I had purchased a brand new corvette about 2 years ago. I recently went to sell it and when potential buyers would look at a Car Facts report it said there was a mileage discrepancy. I spoke to the dealer who didn’t offer to do much to fix this. So I called Brett for help and he was able to get the problem resolved with out going to court and in a pretty short time frame of about 2 months. We had a lemon refrigerator and Brett Shainfeld took the initiative to get the situation resolved in a very professional, efficient manner. Although the process itself was fairly easy, the time it took was exceptionally long. Not because of the attorney, but because of the company we were dealing with ( Whirlpool). I would use Brett again in a heartbeat for his help. The bottom line is the issue was resolved ( Whirlpool refunded our entire purchase and then picked up the lemon refrigerator). Again, the process took over 2 months to get resolved but it was.

After three service calls for the same issue over 4 years and then no replacement parts KitchenAid offered a pro-rated replacement for $3600. I tried unsuccesfully for weeks to get KitchenAid to refund my purchase price or replace my 4 year old refrigerator with a new one with no luck. After turning the case over to Brett he got what I wanted in ONE day. Today my brand new $7400 refrigerator was installed and working great. My car had a problem since I purchased the car, and I was trying to fix it by visiting 3 different dealerships, but at last, they could not figure out the sources of problem. The problem was that RPM was fluctuating and then the engine was stalling when I completely stopped the vehicle. It was quite dangerous when I was not aware of shutting the engine off. I waited about a month to get a response from the Mazda, and finally they offered me initial settlement agreement. I kinda liked the way it is, but lawyer Brett never stopped it from there. He made a counter offer to the Mazda, and I got much better settlement agreement because of him! ( I won't mention the actual amount of settlement).

11/21/2011 I purchased a 2008 Ford F-150 with only 36k miles on it and by the time I got the Truck Home I noticed that there was something wrong with the Engine. The dealer who sold the car to me acted as though they would make good and had the truck sent to a local dealer for inspection. The dealer was not able to locate any issues or duplicate what I experienced so I was sent on my way. Two weeks later the truck started acting up again so I took it back to Ford and they found that the entire Engine needed replacement. The dealer who I purchased the truck from told me they would not take the truck back. With this being said I new I was going to need help so I contacted the attorneys at shainfeld-Anvar. I encountered great difficulties in dealing with a very deceiving merchant in the market. It was a fraudulent inducement for services not received. I have tried all the possible resolutions with the merchant and sent all the evidences and rebuttal to my credit card companies requesting them to credit back the charge from this merchant. My credit card companies were not able to fulfill my request because the merchant responded back with the misleading/fraudulent information to my credit card companies.

I purchased a 2007 Mercedes Benz C230 Sport. This was my not my first Mercedes, but was my first one with problems. Within a year of purchasing the car I began to experience transmission problems, where the vehicle was slipping out of gear and lagging before going into gear. Living in San Francisco this is a major problem with all the hills. After taking it to the dealership for multiple repairs, all of which would fix the problem for like a week, I was frustrated at the time spent taking the car to and from the shop, as well as concerned my car would slip out of gear while driving and cause an accident. On more than one occasion, I was told this is how this car is supposed to operate. Yeah right!! A car is supposed to slip out of gear and not go into gear immediately.
