Andrew F. Dixon

Andrew Dixon is a Managing Partner of Bowler Dixon & Twitchell LLP. He concentrates his practice in the areas of corporate, business and commercial law, landlord and tenant, and bankruptcy law, including significant transactional and litigation experience in these areas. Mr. Dixon assists his clients in negotiating and drafting asset purchase and sale agreements, promissory notes, security agreements, entity formation documents, commercial and residential leases and other related legal documents. Mr. Dixon also enjoys a substantial local counsel practice, assisting attorneys from around the United States with legal issues arising in Nevada. Mr. Dixon has served as lead counsel on multi-million dollar transactions involving the purchase and sale of business assets, commercial and residential real estate, as well as other significant transactions involving the purchase and sale of stock and business assets. He also assists clients with commercial leasing transactions and litigation involving commercial landlords and tenants. Mr. Dixon has successfully represented a wide range of clients, including business owners, general contractors, land owners, developers, shopping center owners, landlords, tenants, lessors and lessees of commercial goods (including aircraft and aircraft parts, vehicles, construction equipment, etc.) and lenders in both simple and complex litigation matters.

Mr. Dixon commenced his legal career as a commercial litigation associate with Beckley Singleton, Chtd. (now merged with Lewis and Roca, LLP) in Las Vegas, Nevada. While in law school, Mr. Dixon served as Judicial Extern to the Honorable Robert C. Jones, United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Nevada (subsequently a Federal District Court Judge), where he broadened his understanding of commercial disputes in the context of bankruptcy. These experiences allow him to counsel his business and commercial clients with a unique forward-looking approach. He also is a published author, legal education lecturer, and has had his litigation work lead to notable published opinions.

Mr. Dixon earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, William S. Boyd School of Law in 2003 and his B.A. in International Studies from Brigham Young University in 1999. Mr. Dixon is a lifelong resident of Las Vegas. In his spare time, Mr. Dixon enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, serving in his church, and (if any time is left over) hunting and fishing. He is fluent in Spanish.
