I was charged with a fairly serious traffic violation last fall. Jason was able to get the charge reduced to a minor non-moving violation with a small fine. He took care of everything, I never had to appear in court and I kept my license. He communicated well with the DA and created a positive outcome for all involved. He is also a personable and easy to get along with man. I recommend him as a defense attorney that can be trusted to do what he says he will.

I was extremely lucky to have Mr. Savela handle my case. After being taken into Boulder County Jail on a ridiculously false charge-I realized, I was completely out of my element- in a situation that would require professional representation. Mr. Savela was more than up to the task. His years of experience were evident from our first meeting. He dissected my case in a matter of minutes. Jason was fantastic at explaining the court system and procedures so a person such as myself could clearly understand what my options were. He was always courteous, well mannered, and respectful. I was treated like a person and not as some piece of trash the sheriff's department had picked up. His determination kept us fighting the good fight-even when I was tired of it all. For that I am completely grateful.

Jason comes highly recommended. From the start, he knew exactly what we were up against when I was arrested for felony DUI. The rates were reasonable enough, and all expenditures were accounted for and explained before and after. His recommendations on accepting a plea were trustworthy. He was highly communicative and responsive throughout the process, and short of having the charges dropped (they weren't) I don't think we could have done any better. Since the conclusion of the case and his representation, Jason has continued to answer questions that have arisen regarding disclosure of the situation on school and job applications.
