A family member potentially faced several counts and many years in a Federal prison. David guided us through the entire process, kept us calm and reassured as the case progressed, and helped reduce his sentence exponentially. He is not cheap but without a doubt, David Finn is THE BEST LAWYER to have fighting for you. He is based in Dallas but we hired him for a case tried in Houston. He is well respected no matter what city he works in and handled the press well for our family. I highly recommend him if you have a Federal issue.
I found David Finn to be an excellent criminal law attorney. I would recommend him to anyone without reservation.
David is smart, tough, very responsive, a very able negotiator, and empathetic to his client’s interests.
David diffused an emotionally charged situation with a Homeowner’s Association Board controlled by angry women who clearly made a wrong decision with which I did not agree. David very quickly and aptly negotiated a settlement with the HOA Board before the situation blew up into ugly litigation and became very unpleasant for the Board, all of the neighbors and myself.
In short, David is a “10” on a scale of 1 to 10.
Mr. Finn is the best attorney, and the best human being.. He help me with my case and gave me piece of mind.. He was very professional, and always answer my emails, my calls. Its great to know that they are still attorneys who care about their clients like Mr. Finn..
In 2005, a family member was presented with a Federal Indictment. Additionally, I was presented with an order from a Federal DOJ branch. They were on the first part of a hunt to indict even more people and it seems the DOJ does not care if they indict an innocent person or not, quoting the famous line that they "...could indict a ham sandwich." They let it be known that I was a "person of interest" which is almost a guarantee of indictment it seems.
I met with, and then hired David Finn. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. It was also reassuring when I told the other attorneys that I interviewed who I was going with, they all collectively said "Oh, wow, you got Finn?"
Over the course of the following six (yes six) years, I was hounded and threatened by the DOJ for an indictment. During that time, the only reason I was not indicted was because of David. David believed in me. He fought for me. He kept me apprised of any updates and met with me anytime I needed him. He also took all of my phone calls, or was prompt in returning them. Additionally, after the threat was officially cleared, he kept in touch to see how I was doing and also offered to look over some correspondence I received from the DOJ, did not charge me for it, and called me to let me know all was ok.
I could go on with a lot of platitudes, but let me list one that is very sincere.
If ANY of my family or friends required legal representation, I would without hesitation and with passion recommend David Finn. Throughout this ordeal I have been exposed to many, many attorneys. NONE of them with the integrity, compassion, and ability to kick ass like Finn. Any other choice would, in my mind, be a grave mistake.
In a world of attorneys that will gladly take your money, not meet with you, not return phone calls, and leave you feeling all alone against the world, it is nice to have a fighter like Finn.
David Finn is a terrific lawyer and a true client advocate. I was charged with felony from the State of Texas on a mediocre at best case that took David nearly 4 years to resolve. He recommended I not settle, not take the State of Texas’s offer and fight in court and win a non-guilty verdict. We fought and won and David in the court room was not only commanding but impressive to watch through my trial. Although each case is different and each outcome is different my recommendation would be to hire the best attorney you can afford and hope for the best. David Finn is as good as it gets and will undoubtedly provide the best opportunity for you either in trial or outside court in making a nightmare go away.

At a time when people are vulnerable, as I was, David Finn will con and lie and fill you full of empty hope. We paid him $50K and 3 1/2 years later he's done absolutely NOTHING. He plays on the fact that he's "in" with the DA, he braggs on his old accomplishments, he builds your confidence, then drops you as though you're poison. Every citizen has the constitutional right to a speedy trial and Attorneys are obligated to represent their clients with zealousness and to the best of their ability. He should be disbarred.

Needless to say that my criminal cases were found not guilty. David helped me even after the case was over out of the goodness of his heart. Bail bond company was gone out of business and David helped me to get the escrow money back from the insurance company by talking to the insurance company's lawyer. He is very well known in Dallas, almost all prosecutors, DA, Attorneys and Judges knows him well. His experience and industry recognition helped me in my cases. His staff Kathy was also very helpful throughout the process. She has professional conduct, and very well experienced. You are a great team. Thank you David and Kathy.

I hired David Finn for fighting false domestic violence case against me and my family, he got us out of all the cases with final verdict "NOT GUILTY". David is life saver. It was a jaw dropping experience to see him fight the case in the trial. He is very knowledgeable and knows how to fight a trial. No one can push him around. He was a judge before so he know exactly what a judge is thinking and analyze the situation accordingly. He is very well-known lawyer in the court. Me and my family are very grateful for his work. Thanks David!

He has done nothing, he doesn't show up for court, he doesn't return calls, he doesn't tell us anything about the case and or why the case has been postponed again..We can't get in touch
with him and have to leave message after message with his secretary and he doesn't return calls.
