Would’ve been better off doing it myself- Shelly & her”team” did nothing to help me get more time with my young boys. If you have a question, it takes DAYS for them to get back with you and then of course it costs money to simply answer a question. I don’t know why anyone would consider her for a ...divorce- she doesn’t work FOR YOU- she’s only trying to “make a deal” with the spouses lawyer! Pathetic is the best word to describe Shelly Reese, as a divorce lawyer. I hired her because she was a woman and thought as a woman she’d fight extra hard for me- that was my first mistake! She’s NOT a fighter, she’s a give in (compromise) type lawyer. She recommended a guardian ad lidam and believe it or not, SHE wasn’t any good either. The guardians are supposed to work on behalf of your children- SHE DID NOT- she actually favored the father- which is the person that abused one of the boys! Talk about a messed up system- this lawyer and her recommendation-for a guardian are not worth a flip. I owe thousands of dollars to someone for doing NOTHING on my behalf- save your money & do it yourself OR hire a MAN- cause anyone would be better than this woman!

Awful business. Took my money and after over a year and being moved attorneys in the firm due to him having too high of case load. I finally got a court date only for them to drop me a month prior to my court date without notice, due to not being available, but they are still able to take other cli...ents.

I am so grateful for Shelly and her staff! They have showed me nothing but love and kindness over the past few days and Loni coming the hospital today was above and beyond! She took the time at the office to read me the POA because I was so overwhelmed. She offered me water soda chocolate and most im...portantly a hug. Michelle‘s help was just above and beyond what I could’ve ever imagined, too! I am very blessed. You guys have been a blessing to me today. Thank you for to you for drawing up that POA on such short notice. Today are you and your staff reminded me that there still is kindness in this evil world. I am very thankful and I just wanted you to know that you have an outstanding staff. They are first-class in every waY!

I have no idea who the poor review was talking about, but it was not Shelly. I have used her and referred to friends. She pays attention to the details and really cares about her clients and welfare of the children involved in ugly custody battles. Plus, it was nice talking to a well educated attorne...y who could help with the financial side of a divorce. She has her MBA and was able to poke holes in my husband's attorneys flawed calculating. I would also feel comfortable hiring any one of the other attorneys in her office if the need arises, i.e. traffic tickets, etc. Thanks for all your hard work Shelly!
