In re Collink, Involuntary Chapter 7

Description: Our Client was drywall subcontractor with private and federal contracts (Pentagon, GAO, etc.). The Client was petitioned into involuntary Chapter 7 bankruptcy by its Union, Pension Fund, and the IRS. Following a lengthy process that included oral arguments and briefs on issues that were also before the U.S. Supreme Court, the Client's bankruptcy moved forward and the Client was discharged by he Trustee. In addition to representing the debtor, our office was able to collect on behalf of the bankruptcy estate from one of the general contractors that owed the debtor money for a federal project.
