I've met Mr. Fimbianti in January 2010 in Pristina, Kosovo. As a Belgium Investigative Judge, I was delegated by the Minister of Justice in Belgium to the EU Rule of Law mission in Kosovo (Eulex), where I held the post of a Eulex prosecutor (conducting criminal investigations together with the Kosovo prosecution office in Pristina and Kosovo and Eulex police). During my mission time, I worked, almost daily, together with Mr. Fimbianti, who was senior advisor for police and prosecution affairs (US Department of Justice ICITAP).

Mr. Fimbianti's experience is exceptional: as a former police officer, prosecutor and defense attorney he was a real expert in his mission task. Within the mission (both with the international colleagues as with the local counterparts) he was very respected due to his knowledge, wide background and ethics.

I'm sure, currently, back home, he's a great defense attorney. Like said before, his experience and background is exceptional and combines all aspects of law enforcement /justice. If I would ever need a criminal defense attorney, I would want Mr. Fimbianti on my side.

Mr. Fimbianti was hired to represent Union Members in an investigation that the Employer accused Sheriff Deputies being involved in a theft of narcotics. Mr. Fimbianti was very concerned for the rights of our members because of the Employers statements without no evidence what so ever of Sheriff Deputies being involved. Mr. Fimbianti was always a phone call away when needed, and kept our members informed at all times.
The investigation came to an end with an arrest of two suspects, and a statement from the Prosecutor stating that there was no evidence what so ever that Sheriff Deputies were involved.
