Lisa and her paralegal were amazing in representing me(and my children)in my divorce. Everything was done in a timely matter and with respect to me. I hired Lisa as my attorney in my custody case. She prolonged the case to over a year with little getting done but did not fail to bill thousands in fees. When I disagreed with her approach she replied condescendingly that she knew better than I. Ultimately, I found her difficult to work with and oft...en rude in demeanor. She has denied that I hired her due to the negative review.

I used her for my divorce, half way through actually, and it was the most chaotic time of my life.Not only was my divorce exceptionally awful, Lisa dropped the ball on every aspect.She did not know much of how to handle anything ultimately resulting in massive fees upwards of $20,000.Dropped the ball... on my child support and it being ddeucted by the state.she consulted another inhouse attorney constantly and still came up short,In the end I was offered another in house attorney who picked up the peices.From him I got $500 more a month child support order and the finalizing of my divorce.Once my ex sent me the settlement check for $15000 that were written in my name they demanded I turn the whole amoutn of $12, 389 to them by signing over my checks.Mind you that is in addition to the almost $5000 I already paid them.I told them I would pay them $7500 with a payment plan.They denied this and quickly turned it into a court battle where they got power of attorney over my checks, added $2500 to the $12,389 and then accumulated interest.Then without my knowledge Lisa placed a citation on my checking account for $1500 the remainder of my debt (mind you I haven't even been divorced a year yet) that had $330 in it and I'm a single mom out of work.She left us broke and that was my child support money!She lied to the judge and made my life a living hell.I wrote to the Attorney Disciplinary Commission about her and hopefully by the grace of God someone will read this and take their divorce elsewhere.My entire settlement plus thousands more beyond it are gone and my kids and I didn't see a penny.As of today I have a bank account with a negative $89 balance and fees accruing and she will still come back after me for the rest,I gaurantee it.She is a terribly unethical and immoral person and lawyer.Please be cautioned.

I initially hired Lisa to represent me with a few post-decree issues. Not being familiar with my case, she familiarized herself and represented me with a few "minor" issues here and there. Although I wasn't necessarily in agreement with one issue, prior to submitting the agreed order to the judge, ...Lisa explained it to me in a way to make me see "the full picture" as opposed to being close minded, and I thank her for that. Once the two year mark from my initial judgment came, my ex motioned for a change in residential custody. Certainly not something I wanted to experience again. I felt as if I was getting divorced from the man I was already divorced from. Lisa kept me informed about the case, although the response time for some issues took a little longer than others. Two days of trial and a ruling in my favor, the a burden lifted! Her fees were reasonable and she had my best interest in mind, as well as my daughter’s. I will continue to use Lisa in the future and have recommended her to others.
