About Me

Parag Y. Shah is a personal injury and criminal defense attorney in Atlanta, Georgia. He graduated from Rhodes College in 2003 and went on to receive his law degree from Ohio Northern University in 2006. In the same year, Mr. Shah began representing clients in felony cases for the Atlanta Judicial Circuit Public Defender’s Office. In 2008, Mr. Shah joined the Law Offices of L. David Wolfe, P.C. as an associate attorney. In 2011, Mr. Shah started his own law firm, The Shah Law Firm, specializing in personal injury and criminal defense.


 


Mr. Shah is a board member for The Georgia Criminal Defense Lawyers Education Fund, an appointed member of the State Bar of Georgia's Indigent Defense Committee, participates as a judge for the Georgia Mock Trial Competitions, and is a faculty member for the Bill Daniel Trial Advocacy Program.


 


In 2009, Mr. Shah received the Amicus Author award from the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers for his work on Santos v. State.  Mr. Shah has received the highest rating by Martindale Hubbell as an "AV" Preeminent Attorney and been acknowledged by Super Lawyers Magazine as a "Rising Star."  In 2011, Mr. Shah was featured as an expert in criminal defense on NPR's "This American Life", episode 430 - Very Tough Love.  In addition, Mr. Shah is a regular legal commentator on CNN's Nancy Grace.
