I sought attorney services after I was arrested in March 2011 for possession of marijuana. I had an appointment with Bert Cohen the day before I was scheduled for court and he was able to postpone my case until I was ready to resolve it. I followed Mr. Cohens' directives and completed most of the requirements of the court that were associated with my charge before arraignment. Bert is a very smart man and well-respected in the judicial community. I am so glad I chose Bert Cohen as my attorney. He negotiated well on my behalf and was able to eradicate all of the additional traffic charges I incurred at the time of my arrest. By viewing the police video that was taken before I was pulled over, Mr. Cohen deducted that the charges were inappropriate and unjust. I was charged with two separate counts of improper lane change, no turn signal, wreckless driving, and crossing the gore in addition to the drug charge. He recognized that I was only trying to pull over and the police officer was overzealous. By the time I walked into court, I was confident knowing Bert had already arranged a great deal for me. My fine was a mere fourth of what it would have been without legal representation. As a long term legal contender, I know this would not have been possible without Bert Cohen. I highly recommend his services, he is thorough, non-judgemental and down to earth.

This man saved my life and my career. He accomplished from the outset what seemed impossible. He had five felonies dropped to a misdemeanor and in the process allowed myself and my family to continue our lives. It would go without saying that his knowledge of the law and competence in the courtroom were impeccable but also his reassuring and respectful approach helped what otherwise would have been a terrifying situation mentally manageable. Bert represented me in my DUI case December of 2011. Within 24 hours of meeting him he was already hard at work on my case. He knows the law and is very fair. He is strait to the point and very aggressive. He lays out a very simple playbook. You follow his guidelines and you will come out ahead

My neighbor who is a local policeman said to me "if I were in trouble here's the guy I would call." Of course I took his advise and from the time I set foot in his office until the conclusion of my DUI case I was 100% satisfied. Mr. Cohen was very knowledgeable, honest and meticulous about everything. Watching him work in court was amazing. If you don't hire this guy, I hate to say this, but you're crazy.

Bert Cohen became my attorney when I was charged with threatening bodily harm to another person and was arrested. This charge was totally false, but was taken extremely seriously by the authorities. I was treated as though I had done this crime and it became very difficult to convince the legal system otherwise.Mr. Cohen met with the accusor, the police, the detectives and the district attorney. I was very pleased with the counsel that I received from Mr. Cohen for my family member. He was straight to the point and knew the law as it pertained to the case. Additionally, he was well respected by professionals in the legal/system. I am not from Georgia and I have heard that Georgia law can be a little tricky. I have had an ongoing matter concerning a Protection order that was, what I believe, falsely placed on me. However Once I was able to find Mr. Cohen he had a very honest and direct way of dealing with my situation. (From which I would much rather prefer this method considering the others would just give a client comforting words and then advise you to make a deal). This previous method does not sit well with me at all.
However!! Bert Cohen did not do this he was honest forth-right and dealt with no drama. He gave me the facts to all my questions analyzed every small detail and help me resolve this matter 100% and even helped me bridge a gap as well between this unnamed party and I. And as of today I do not have the Protection Order on me any more I have the signed proof of it being dropped and I know that if I may have any other matter in the future Bert will be the 1st I call.

He's a nice guy, he knows what he's doing and gets the job done as quickly as possible. He helped me when I was in in a jam and things got confusing. If anyone reading this needs a lawyer. Give Bert a chance he will fight for you.

Its hard to believe that this man is really an attorney. He has none of the traits that are normally associated with attorneys in general. As a matter of fact, he is a total opposite of how we have came to view attorneys. Aside from being very knowlegable, he has shown me that he truly cares for his clients and understands the traumatic experience that the client is undergoing and works diligently to relieve the pain. I was kept informed from day one of all developments and actions pertaining to my case. As for his fee, I feel that it was not unreasonable and every dollar was earned and well deserved.
