Outcome: a win for all survivors - a remand for r.l.

Description: Won case before the New Jersey Appellate Court on behalf of victim of child sexual abuse on Statue of Limitations issues. The case was heard before the New Jersey Supreme Court on 2/18/09. I argued there along with Professor Marci Hamilton who is a nationally regarded scholar on this issue that the Court should broadly interpret the Child Sex Acuse Act including the provisions which accrue the cause of action, or toll it. The Supreme Court decieded the case on June 10, 2009 and changed the law in a way which made it easier for survivors to have their day in court. I am very proud to have played a role in helping such victims achieve the justice they deserve.
