Question

The address on the search warrant was wrong the describing of where it was located was wrong how can I be charged?

officers come in my home and searched it and took things and destroyed it and made my mom get on the ground with her hands behind her head. They charged her and took her to jail they called children services the address on the search warrant was wrong and had been marked out by a police officer and then a new address had been wrote by a police officer and it wasn't signed by a judge and then not only was the address wrong but the part where you explain what like the location of the house is it described it as a whole different apartment building it said it was the second apartment building and a different address all together like on the same page I don't understand how they can how they could use that in court and then my name was on the bottom of the search warrant and description of the things that can be sought and seized

This sounds like an interesting issue to discuss with your criminal defense attorney as soon as possible, if not sooner.

Legal Consult Recommended

I'm an attorney, obviously, and I'm licensed to practice in Wisconsin, but I'm not your attorney unless and until you retain me or my firm. As such, nothing I post here should be considered personal, privileged, or formal legal advice. #IANYL

You could be right--but your attorney needs to assert that in court. Get a KY criminal defense attorney IMMEDIATELY. Good luck to you.

Please do not send me a DM or email with follow-up questions. If you need an attorney's assistance search locally by calling your State Bar Association or try the "Find a Lawyer" link at the top of the page. I answer...
