Employee's right to charge personal expenses on company credit card, Illinois employment law
I have an American Express Corporate card in my name and I use it for personal expenses as well. I never charge in those expenses, I pay them myself. Can I be terminated for that?
Unless you have a contract that says otherwise (or are protected as a Union member) you can be terminated for any reason or no reason. BUT you can't be terminated for an illegal reason (race, religion, etc.).
Check your company policies and any employee handbook for rules relating to corporate credit cards and business expenses. Most companies address these things directly. If your company gave you a company credit card for which it is responsible, it won't want personal expenses on the account.
Good luck.
