Michael H Pham

It was my first POM case when I hired Pham to represent me in court. Man did I mess up. He was always late, at least 2 hours after name call and one time he didn't show up at all. I called 3 hours into court and he said "Oh sorry I had a family emergency, tell the clerk to reschedule". I've known peo...ple with public defenders get better deals than I did with him. I honestly believe some of these good reviews on here are written by him. At the end of it all I did two weeks in jail for not even a gram of Marijuana. This dude makes my cousin Vinny look like Johnnie Cochran.

At first he may seem very intelligent and diligent with his work. He was late to every single court appearance by 10-20 minutes after name call, we had to do continuations for about 5 months just to finish the case, a few times he would literally leave the court room just to answer calls. He faile...d to do anything about my ALR hearing, did not even mention my license being suspended while i had no idea. One time i set a meeting only to wait an hour for him to tell me he forgot and meant on another day. Every time i did meet with him he had piles of folders with cases he was dealing with, i feel like i wasted money on him and would have gotten nearly the same deal with a public defender.

He didnt do anything. Always late. He didnt fight on my behalf and wont go to trial. He was working against me. Never seen a lawyer like this. I end up fired him and ask for my money back. He wouldnt. I got another lawyer and say michael pham already got me a plead deal which i didnt know about.... The plea deal is 3 year in prison. My first ever got arrested for thef. It should be probation. Dont ever get this clown to represent you.

Michael Pham did not help me one bit this was my first time being arrested so I had no knowledge about court and what I had to do for my case he made me feel unimportant never called and checked on me, never told me anything about my case, he kept rescheduling my court dates which I later found out I... was getting charged for, the officer in my case lied about my arrest and when I told mr.pham about it he did nothing I lost the case feeling like I could have did everything he did for me on my own , he just took my money and took advantage of me

Michael Pham was a horrible attorney, but I only came to this conclusion after being "suckered" into his services. The very first time I met Mr. Pham, he was very polite and understanding. He was confident he could dismiss my possession of Marijuana case, especially after the authorities found it in ...someone else's vehicle. Everything was sounding wonderful, so at that moment I hired Mr. Pham. ($1,000 which was paid in full) Which would later be the worst mistake of my life. He was balancing so many cases at once, he NEVER made it on time. I had at least 5 appearances before the Judge, and every time, I would have to wait hours after the Judge called for my case... Just so Mr. Pham could arrive. I called Mr. Pham because he was hours late, and he told me "Im in another courtroom, and ill be there" and hung up in my face. When he arrived the first thing he asked me was " how much are you paying towards your balance"? I was immediately disturbed by this because he had been payed in full, and didn't even recall. When the case finally started, it was constantly rescheduled, because he was "gathering notes" and trying to dismiss it. Well 6 months fly by, and one morning in court, he says to me.... "It didnt work out, and the best I can do is Jail time or deferred adjudication." My heart was heavy, and I instantly felt cheated. He came back from deliberation, and told me "sign this" (probation papers) I started reading over the paper work, and he said "hurry up, I have another case." I then yelled at him, "I'm not signing my life away without reading it" He got enraged, and snatched the papers after I signed them. He also led me to believe I would have everything wiped from my record which wasn't true. He had horrible communication, and never let me on my options. He more or less decided my future without me having a say so. Never saw him again after that, and thank God. I hope this guy hasn't ruined other young lives, like he ruined mine. I don't understand how he sleeps at night.
