Securing Secret Clearance for DoD Employee

Troy Nussbaum succeeded in securing a clearance for me despite the obstacles that presented themselves before me before meeting with Troy. It would have been impossible to get a clearance on my own and without his help. Another lawyer had looked at my case, thought that it was impossible to secure my... clearance, and there was nothing we could do, but he forwarded me to Troy Nussbaum. Troy looked at my case, was confident in his abilities, gave me an action plan as well as sound advise along the process, and did exactly what he said he was going to do on his end. To make a long story short, thanks to him, my clearance was granted without any obstacle whatsoever.

Money Well Spent

Troy went above and beyond in his defense of my security clearance, and while the results didn’t go our way, I have no doubt he did everything he could. His meticulous research and lines of strategy were far and away better than anything I could have come up with on my own, and his frank and accurate... assessment of our challenges prevented me from being blindsided throughout the opaque, bureaucratic nature of the adjudication process.

Expert advice for security clearance issues

I hired Troy as a preemptive consultation for some issues with my Secret Clearance Application. I was worried about mitigation of some fairly recent cannabis use. Troy helped me take specific actions to mitigate these red flags in a quick and professional manner. Luckily my clearance came back as gra...nted. I largely credit Troys advice for helping to limit the concerns around my potential risks. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking legal advice on the security clearance process.

Air Force civilian clearance adjudication

Mr. Nussbaum was able to assist in preparing a SOR response that got my clearance reinstated. He worked effectively despite the geographical distance. He was prompt in responding to all communication. And, he possessed detailed knowledge of the process that I was unable to find elsewhere. Overall ...a positive experience despite the stressful circumstances.
