Ryan W. Barry focuses his practice on estate planning, elder law and special needs planning for Tennessee and Georgia residents. When assisting clients with their planning needs, Ryan focuses on structuring a plan that maximizes the client's wishes while minimizing taxes and unnecessary administration and probate procedures (to the extent possible). As part of the planning process, Ryan works closely with families and their financial advisors to ensure that all assets are structured properly and that all direct beneficiary designations are executed properly to ensure compliance with the overall estate plan.
Ryan also works with families to ensure that loved ones with special needs and/or elderly family members execute sound estate plans that work to pass property along to the next generation while minimizing the risk of impeding access to public benefits programs.
Finally, Ryan also assists clients with the administration of estates and trusts, thereby allowing him to engage in multi-generation planning.

Ryan handled our estate planning, and was prompt, responsive, knowledgeable and very pleasant. We were glad to have found him.
We had some specific issues to be addressed, and Ryan seemed very knowledgeable. He responded promptly to phone calls or emails, and did everything he promised, when promised, and his rates are reasonable.
