Thomas E. McCabe

I hired him. I fired him. He did not file motions as he promised. He did not return phone calls. He did not ever account for his time billing. He did not advise of court dates. He did not show up in court when required. He appears to have absolutely no integrity. He makes false claims of his affilia...tions. He was thrown out of his previous office because the other attorneys got tired of taking phone calls from irate clients. STAY AWAY

Attorney Thomas Eugene McCabe is a extremely unprofessional attorney. He represented me for a year in a divorce matter. He never returned calls or texts and rarely emails. He'd schedule times to meet on 3 seperate occasions and never showed up. He also lied and said he filed a very important docu...ment with the court that was never filed even though I paid him the filing fee. Attorney McCabe lacks morals and empathy. He is also refusing to give me my personal documents over a measly $200! Because of him I am still going through this nasty divorce. His only answer to me was he just wanted to drag it out. Attorney McCabe has no business in this line of work!

I hired Mr. Mccabe to represent me in my divorce and it was a huge mistake. He failed to inform me of court dates and therefore I was a " NoShow" and so was HE! What kind of lawyer doesn't tell his client of upcomming court dates? What kind of lawyer NEVER shows up himself? I am still trying to reco...ver money I paid him, as he has not responded to me or my current attorneys requests! While he was working for me he failed to return calls or texts to keep me informed and I always felt like I was in the dark.

I was at a total loss and had no idea what I was going to do. I posted a question on Avvo and honestly figured it would lead to yet another dead end. Much to my surprise Atty. Mccabe not only answered that very day..... BUT he has been the best thing that has happened for me in years!!!! Atty. Mccabe... answered all my questions, we spoke on the phone and via email several times and I was not charged for any of his time or advice. I have retained Atty. Mccabe to help me through this ordeal. I felt confident from the very first time I spoke with him. He is very knowledgeable, kind, and understanding. He answers every phone call and email on the day I send or call him. Atty Mccabe has worked with me on his fees!!! which is a big concern of mine as I had been out of work for nearly a year. The truth is I slept through the night for the first time in months after the very first time we talked, as he was so kind and reasured me that this situation can and will be resolved. I am happy I found Avvo and posted my question..... BUT Honestly and at the risk of sounding a bit dorkey I feel as though I have been sent an Angel from above! I would recomend Atty. Mccabe to everyone, he really cares, he is kind, funny, down to earth, and really wants to help. I have the utmost respect and trust in him and the work he is doing for me. I can't Thank him enough!
