WARNING-STAY AWAY
BEWARE! I went to him to help me with a volatile divorce/custody case between my girlfriend and her ex. He took my money and did nothing that he promised. During the period of his "services" he did not accept phone calls nor return phone calls for nearly three months as urgent emails and phone calls...
This gentleman has also taken on some personal agenda as I was not "responsive" to his text messages to me between 3:00 and 5:00am when the majority of the texts and emails would be received. He also had hired me for a single issue matter which developed into a full blown modification and contempt hearing, of which he did not want to pay a retainer and expected me to work for free.

Incompetent and Irresponsible
The only reason Thomas Eugen McCabe is getting one star is because this Avvo system will not allow me to give him less. I hired Mr. MccCabe earlier this year in an Alimony and Child Abuse case. As appears to be his current trend, he made promises he never kept, he never advised of court dates, never ...

Extremely unprofessional.
Attorney Thomas Eugene McCabe is a extremely unprofessional attorney. He represented me for a year in a divorce matter. He never returned calls or texts and rarely emails. He'd schedule times to meet on 3 seperate occasions and never showed up. He also lied and said he filed a very important docu...
This client was offered a significantly reduced rate of about 1/4 my regular rate for my legal services, of which included trial. The "three separate occasions referenced were three different times that this client wanted me to meet with her boyfriend to collaborate testimony of the marital property she disposed of for cash to her now current boyfriend, Her husband had been incarcerated and I incurred significant loss of income for a lot of time spent on this matter. Even the Court held in their decisions that her testimonial was not creditable. I am sorry she feels this way but perhaps she should start living a better lifestyle and not blaming others for all her troubles. Her file is ready to be picked up and she refuses to pay the outstanding balance.
