Stacey is just an awesome on her field. My divorce case was still pending for 11/2 years and my previous attorney was not yet able to solve. My court case was a complex and difficult child custody dispute between myself and my abusive ex-husband for our 14 year-old daughter S. I was fortunate to meet Family Lawyer Stacey Schliffer, because she had been hired by my attorney for this case to cover at one of the court hearings at which the l...atter was not able to be present due to an out-of -own trip on the day of said court date. I was interduced to Ms Scliffer a few weeks before that hearing via email. I was reluctant to take her up on her invitation to let her know, if I had any questions, mostly because of my previous experience, where my emails with questions to my lawyer had either been ignored or only partially answered after many days before I received any response to them. There were, however, some issues I had a lot of anxiety about in regards to having to face my abusive former batterer ex-husband, once again, in the court room and at mediation. I am so glad that I DID decide to take Ms Scliffer up on said offer, because from the moment my email correspondence with Stacey began, I felt extremely well taken care of affirmed in that my questions and concerned were relevant and important to our working together. She answered all my questions very thoroughly and thoughtfully, and sje helped me so much with my concerns and my worries in regards to the upcoming court hearing and mediation. I finally did NOT feel like I was getting on my attorney's nerves, just because I was asking them a question. Having had Ms Schliffer being contracted by my own lawyer at the time, was the best thing that could have ever happend to me in the situation I was in at that time. She was instrumental in helping me build my self esteem back up, which had been shattered through dealing with the Family Courts and my abusive ex-husband for almost two years. It was very obvious that Stacey has tons of experience and expertise with clients whose family disputes involve domestic violence issues. She helped me tremendously, and I wish I had known about her, before I decided to look for a family lawyer who could help me. I would have absolutely hired her to be the lawyer by my side through these difficult times.
