I was arrested but not charged on a bogus domestic violence accusation. However, I still had the arrest on my record. In this type of case the burden of proof is on the accused and the arresting parties (police) strongly resist the motion because you may be able to sue them later for arresting you without 'probable cause'. Sean was very thorough in presenting my case and I was exonerated: 'No reasonable cause exists to believe the arrestee committed the offense for which the arrest was made. Petitioner is factually innocent of the charges listed below and is hereby exonerated. Sean Leslie helped me out with a case I had concerning Domestic Violence in the home. I am older (56) and my wife about the same age. Not to go into the details of our case it is fair to say that the police arrested me without any cause. It was beyond ridiculous and unprofessional. Of course when Sean Leslie took on the case and presented the FACTs to the DA the case was dropped. Furthermore, the Carlsbad police trampled my name through the public and are incompetent. I asked them to seal and destroy the arrest record since it was total BS. They of course refused. I went back to Sean and he did the paperwork for the petition to seal and destroy. Once again - HE GOT RESULTS. The DA did not even oppose the petition and it is approved. When our government overstepped its role and entered into my home you may have to wait it out. Sean Fitzpatric Leslie is not only an excellent attorney, I also judge him to be a good, decent, and honest person in a world where the word "Lawyer" has become far too synonymous with deception and greed, in my usual opinion. Fortunately my experience with the Leslie Legal Group was all around facile and much more pleasant and successful than anticipated. I also must confess that I have got to be one of the most willfully challenging clients to work with for most any attorney. I am a fierce and uncompromising advocate of helping to restore the rule of Constitutional Law to the United States of America and do my best to exercise my First Amendment Rights in particular whenever and wherever possible. In my case, a badly spoiled ex-girlfriend with a ludicrously wealthy multi, multi, multi-millionaire father was wickedly and willfully lying and had essentially financially and socially motivated others to back her blatant bald-faced lies. In short, I was basically a nightmare of a client for most any attorney since I refused to keep my big, loud, & proud mouth the funk shut. Since at least the times of the O.J. Simpson fiasco, males have been badly discriminated against in the California legal system. Personally I won't tolerate discrimination of any sort and am very thankful that Mr. Leslie' calm and reasonable negotiating style and good relations all-around was able to successfully get the charges dropped and the case dismissed just as the trial was set to begin. I do not necessarily advise being as hardcore and uncompromising while standing up to a broken and discriminatory 'System' in these trying times as I have chosen to be, yet I definitely do highly advise retaining the affordable and efficient legal services of Sean Fitzpatric Leslie and Leslie Legal Services if you do.
