Thirty days from date of detention, my client pled to the remaining non-strike felony charge. He was sentenced to 180 days of work release, which after 1/2 time credits will be a mere 90 days!
Reduced to misdemeanor "wet reckless" with Helmandollar action, so the client suffered no loss of driving privilege. This was critical, as my client was a Class A license holder and wouldn't have been able to work for one year.
After two court appearances, my client pled to misdemeanor domestic battery, received NO JAIL TIME OR WORK RELEASE, and paid a total fine of $235. He also agreed to three years informal probation and to complete domestic battery class.
Court ruled the stop unconstitutional and thus all the evidence from the stop inadmissible. The D.A. had no choice but to dismiss the case entirely!
The alcohol-related charges were dropped and instead my client pled guilty to two infractions. Total fines, penalties, and assessments amounted to less than $450. No school required and no probation,
After successful negotiation with the Peole, my client was released with minimum probation term. And zero time insid.
The charges were reduced to a simple misdemeanor and my client walked away with base fine and les than five dys of work releas.
Negotiated settlement to a "wet reckless," with a subsequent Helmandollar action. Driving privileges fully restored!
After successfully challenging the 3 hour presumption at the pre-trial level, my client chose to settle for a Helmandollar action, thus recovering his full driving privilege, with out any restrictions, classes, or proof of insurance.
The case was settled with my client receiving NO jail time, only 180 days of house arrest or work release. Additionally, victim restitution to the county settled on a payment plan of $70 per MONTH!
At the pretrial, I was able to negotiate his charge down to a mere public intoxication. My client paid a total fine and assessment of $225.
At the arraignment, I was able to not only reduce the charge to a wet reckless, but I was able to obtain a "not guilty" on the Count 2, allowing my client to keep her driving privilege fully intact.
At the arraignment, the case was settled for a violation of the basic speed law. He paid the minimum fine and retained his full driving privilege.
DUI dismissed, $300 total fine and assessment.
Wet reckless and N/G on b count. License returned!
After months of negotiation and investigation, my client's charges were reduced to a 647(f), public intoxication.
Plea to a wet reckless and a "not guilty" on the "b" count.
Plea to a wet reckless with a "not guilty" stipulation o n the "b" count
